
One of the VERY few favorable car buying experiences ever! Our family has almost entirely done business with one dealership because of horrible prior experiences. My son a first time car buyer saw this Jeep from the road, just had to see it up close! We stopped checked it out and he quickly fell in love. Malcolm was quick to help us get on the road for a test drive, he was quick to offer to get numbers together, so we would have all the necessary information to make an informed decision. Ultimately, we fell in love with the car and the price couldn’t be beat by any other dealership!! Malcolm was all the things you want in a sales person helping you make such a big purchase. He was none of the things that had previously scared us away from shopping dealerships where we didn’t have a relationship.
Malcolm deserves all the credit with our purchase here at Tindol Subaru, we would have easily walked away if anything felt pushed, rushed, forced, or anything that felt like a hustle scam. He really seamlessly made the purchase easy and without hiccups! In the future, our family has a second dealership and person we are comfortable to do business with!! Read moreWe are very unsatisfied with the service department. We have had a leak in our new 2021 subaru forster and brought it up to the service department to have it looked at. They had it for over a week and stated we had no leak as they was unable to find anything, when we have pictures of it. So, we had some more rain and still standing water again in our passenger floorboard where it's saturated into the carpet. Spoke with "Ed" service manager who said that he could give us a 3rd party company to contact and we could pay out of pocket for it. This car is still under warranty and never have they took the time to look at it again even though we brought it back up there and just pushed us away. We now have contacted Subaru of America who investigated it and stated that they are responsible for fixing it due to the warranty. Due to this mold could be settling in as now it's leaking through the roof, and our front speakers don't work so I'm sure electrical damage is starting and we have a newborn who does not need to be riding in those conditions. My spouse has tried to call Ed and we have left numerous messages and no call back as well as Subaru of America has and still waiting to hear back in reference to getting it fixed. 1.) I traded a 2016 Corolla S (they still haven’t paid it off because I got a Bill reminder from the finance company) text Kalib at Tindol Subaru, and asked what that was about with no reply!
2.) the Jeep was on their lot with a bad heater core, headlight wasn’t working, and speakers making a awful crackling sound. (it had been there for about a month before I purchased it). We let them know, and they sent it to Jeep to get the heater core fixed. We constantly got the run around from , and the Jeep place was nothing, but rude! Fast forward A WEEK later my Jeep was ready for pick up. I was told the speakers, and head lights had been fixed by Tindols service department as well.
•THEY TURNED THE AMP OFF INSTEAD OF FIXING THE AFTERMARKET NIGHTMARE SYSTEM ( I asked it be unhooked if it was my issue) •The service department never fixed my headlight either. But I had the Jeep fixed and fixed the proper way out of my pocket! 3.) They have my trade in for sale without paying the damn loan off.
Literally the only pro I have found in this whole ordeal is the deal I got on my Jeep. I absolutely love my Jeep, but this was the worse car buying experience EVER. I will never purchase another...
