Gotta Go Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Lowell

Yesterday while running errands we needed something quick and we hoped for something good! We decided to make a quick stop somewhere for a sandwich on the run. In a bit of a time crunch I just googled food near me, Gotta go Sandwich Shop pulled up! I gave a chuckle and said welp this sounds perfect let's see what Gotta Go has! We gave a quick glance over the menu and were excited about what all they had to offer. I narrowed it down to a couple of burgers because I'm a rebel. Our order had one beef burger and one turkey burger with all the fixins even Pimento cheese. Hoping that this quaint little storefront would be a Godsend for us today little did we know that's exactly what it would turn out to be! When I came in I was greeted by the best smelling food I had smelled from a restaurant in quite some time.  I said to myself maybe even out loud it smells like I'm in the right place! Not only did the food that was cooking smell great, it was so clean and organized looking. I love me a good no frills establishment! I was greeted by the biggest warmest smiles I have been given by any customer service probably within a few months maybe even a year! I said I definitely feel like I'm in the right spot! I chatted with Myra and Reeisha whom I found out were the dynamic mother daughter duo. I felt welcomed almost like at home in my mamas kitchen if I were watching and talking with family! It was hands down the best experience I've had in a long time! The food was great the customer service was unparalleled and the cleanliness was next to godliness! I know this review is a little lengthy but I promise you it's worth it! So while I was paying for my food I noticed I left the truck lights on. Welp, you guessed it! My truck wouldn't start! It's not that the food had taken long bc it was super fast! I think my battery was just being a meanie. Well, long story not so short Mama Myra marched right out of her business and helped us jump our truck back running! Now if you think you want to put your hard earned money in hands it deserves when you spend it, you go right on down to "Mama" Myra and Reeshia in Gastonia and get you a good fresh cooked lunch on the go! Eat local, heavily support GREAT small businesses...

I just stopped in here for the first time as I waited for some work to be done on my truck across the street.

I felt compelled to leave a review before I even took my first bite. The service, conversation and atmosphere were great!! It was more than just a business transaction with Gotta Go, they wanted to make my experience personal and they knocked it out of the park.

As a business owner myself, I wanted to commend the staff on how they interacted with me and made my short visit a great one. I think many businesses lose sight of the value in a personal experience, so again, thank you and keep it up!

I had the pleasure of eating at this establishment this afternoon for lunch. I ordered the hotdogs and they were delicious. I also had the banana pudding cake and this other special pie too.The food is very good, but what makes this place even more special is the mother and daughter running it. They allowed me to sit down and eat inside and converse with them.They were so nice, polite, welcoming and positive. They have a wall inside that has some spiritual quotes and positive ones as well. The spiritual and positive vibe inside thIs place is felt. When you get a chance go eat here and even more than that speak with them(Ressa and Eliese)to get the experience I had. I'll be going back again...
