RnR Café & Gifts — Restaurant in Gastonia

We stopped in today to grab a smoothie after our workout, and I’m so glad we did! 💪🏼🍹

As we pulled up, we recognized the building from a previous business, but curiosity got the best of us—and we decided to check it out. So glad we did!

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Valerie, who was so sweet 💖 The service was genuinely perfect—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.

I ordered the Superberry Smoothie 🍓🫐 with oat milk 🥛, added avocado 🥑, and skipped the blueberries. It was so good—super refreshing and exactly what I needed after our workout.

My husband went with the Mango Mellow Smoothie 🥭 with coconut milk 🥥. He downed it so fast 😂 I took a sip, and wow—the natural coconut milk added the perfect hint of sweetness. So tropical and delicious!

We’ll definitely be back, especially for more smoothies—and I can’t wait to try the boba one day! 🧋

While chatting with Valerie, I mentioned how much I loved the atmosphere. The space is incredibly inviting—the seating is comfortable and perfect for relaxing with a smoothie without feeling rushed. There’s also an adorable photo op spot with a flower wall 🌸📸—I can totally picture myself getting dolled up in a cute dress just to take photos there!

Valerie mentioned this was just a soft opening, and the official grand opening will be on July 4th 🎆—with Labubu making an appearance! 🐾 It’s so exciting to see small businesses like this one opening their doors, creating a sense of community, and showing they truly care about their customers.

I’m genuinely excited to watch this adorable small business grow...

If you’re in Gastonia area, give RnR cafe a visit! It’s such a cute spot with a HUGE selection of desserts and drinks. They’ve also expanded their menu to include food, with more in the works!

The drinks we had today (brown sugar float, strawberry lemonade, COCONUT MATCHA 🍵, rose tea something) were all delicious. My son said there were loads of toppings which he happily gobbled down and his friend gave his float 10/10!

I am obsessed with their fresh spring rolls and chicken rice (com ga hoi an), it’s so good!

The owner was sweet and patient while my party changed their order every other minute. She mentioned that they are putting in a couple of claw machines soon. I cannot wait to come back to try more item...

R&R Cafe and Gifts is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a beautifully curated floral aesthetic that adds such a cozy and inviting touch. The menu offers plenty of options, and I love that you can customize your own desserts and drinks to suit your taste.

I had the fully loaded berry cheesecake, which was the perfect balance—“not too sweet” yet still a delightful treat for a Saturday morning. The staff was incredibly patient and friendly, making the experience even better. Since they are currently in their preopening phase, I’m excited to see how they evolve.
