I have been wanting to get a new couch. I looked on the web for the best furniture store & Ashley was one of the top stores to buy furniture from. I called and spoke with a gentleman,his name was Eric. He was very informative, and from reading the web, that was one of the things to look for when buying furniture. Eric invited me to come in and look around so when I got to Ashley's, I asked for Eric. When I looked up reviews on Google, someone was saying how Eric was very good, so that was also why I asked for him. When I finally went to the Ashley Furniture store in Gastonia, NC. I walked in and was in awe! This store was amazing. I wanted everything. The store was huge. The furniture was beautiful. Every piece was nicely decorated and inviting! Eric showed me some couches in my price range. He said for me to look around, and he'd keep an eye on me in case I needed him. He didn't pressure me in any way. I decided on an alloy sectional & a table with 4 chairs & bench. Eric wanted to make sure both items would fit in my apartment, so he gave me his tape measure and wrote the deminsions for both. I feel other furniture stores would just tell me they'll fit to get a sale. Eric wanted to make sure before I signed the papers that what I wanted would fit. After I got back to Ashley Furniture, I wasn't sure, so for now, I am getting the sectional. Eric told me about the Diamond Care Plus, and if anything went wrong with my purchase w/in 5 years, they would replace the purchase. I usually don't get warranties, but the Diamond Care Plus was a no-brainer! Eric explained everything to me, so I signed the paperwork. I'm excited to get my new sectional. I was very pleased with the service I got at Ashley Furniture and Eric's help. If you are looking for a place to buy furniture, stop in at Ashley Furniture. You'll be happy you did. Keith went above and beyond. We are very happy with him and our purchases!! I hate to take away from Keith after giving him a good review. BUT, he told me my rug could be picked up. Ashley sent me a text to say I can come pick it up. When I got there, 35 minutes through construction congestion, they told me they don't have it in stock. They have my dinette set ready. I told them promptly that I paid high price for delivery and assembly, and I was told it wouldn't be ready until 1/12/24. After bouncing around to several individuals on the phone, I was told they could deliver my table now, but the rug I ordered wouldn't be ready until around 1/3/24. I told them I made plans for my old dinette set for the 2nd, and I'll wait until the 3rd for everything. After 4 texts and emails from 1/1/24 to 1/2/24 confirming my delivery for the table and 1 text asking for me to schedule delivery for the rug, I called to schedule to have the person on the phone tell me the dinette set wasn't there and they will deliver my rug today, 1/3/24. Three hours later I get another text confirming delivery of my dinette set for today, 1/3/24. The text confirmed it would arrive between 12:30 - 3:30 pm. I get a text today saying it will be late and not arrive until 4:30 pm. I can hardly wait to see exactly what they deliver. Good luck to anyone that buys from Ashley. Yesterday, I got a sales letter telling me I have $14,000 credit with Ashley, come buy today. Don't hold your breath, Ashley. There are other furniture stores besides yours. When I do need any other furniture, they are where I'll go. P.S. Of course, they robocall me at 4:30 to tell me they will be 15 minutes late.

I purchased a sofa and chair 14 months ago. I was sold on the diamond care warranty that It would cover anything. My couch ripped at the seam about 2 inches. I thought a claim and I was denied by diamond care. I went back to the furniture store and acted like I was buying new furniture and again they sold me the warranty stating it will cover all rips, tears, including seams. I talked to the manager. He tried to help me as much as he could. Ashley‘s furniture did not help him as well. They did replace the fabric but I was gonna have to get a technician and pay the technician to replace the fabric . That is very poor customer service. I have been a repeat customer for more than 15 years. I will never go back there and I suggest no one ever buy product from them .
