Geneva Public Library - Ashtabula County District Library — Attraction in Geneva

I have been a part of three libraries in my life. First was very strict & I remember being yelled at & shushed all the time as a kid. It made me not like them. Second was when I was a teenager and a book reading addict. I biked to the library daily and knew all the staff members. I loved that library even though you still had to be very quiet. They were nice and sweet if they felt they needed to remind you. Now Geneva, is amazing! I fell in love with this library. The atmosphere is friendly & clean. The kids area is a dream for my kids. They can play & have fun all they want. The staff encourages their fun as well! I am glad my kids are not learning to fear the library like I did when I was a kid. Love it here. Jim is amazing, the branch is always clean and well kept. I love how easy the ACDL hold system is. I’ve been coming here to study for my LSAT and was able to pull a few books on logical reasoning. I often go to study for an hour or two and end up staying 2-3. Lots of local programs always going on, and I enjoy seeing local friends and family around. The teen game room and tech toys room is underutilized, it’s seriously pretty cool they have fully souped up Macs on deck. I’d do homework here if I was a local commuting student. This was the best library I've ever experienced. Tidy clean. GREAT service. All workers were nice and helpful. Books are well organized and great choices. Vr headsets and ps4 and Xbox. Great movie selections. Crafting area and computers for kids to play on. Tree for children to play in and a safe balcony on it. It was quiet and peaceful. Normally not a lot of people there. Still quiet even if there's people. Definitely 5 star....
