Normally, I would not complain but the entire experience was completely terrible. For starters, I paid for my order (including tip) with Apple Pay. Upon arrival, the delivery driver told me that I had a balance of $3.99. I immediately contacted the store to inform them that I paid in full with Apple Pay and I was informed that a portion of the drivers tip did not go through on the transaction even though the entire amount had been taken out of my bank account. I asked if I could pay over the phone the $3.99 so the driver could get his tip (mind you, the correct amount had been taken already). I was told by Tom that this was an impossibility and since I didnât have cash to give the driver, the driver wasnât going to receive a tip which really upset me because itâs not the drivers fault, nor my fault, that this was happening. Anyways, Tom had the driver leave and that was that. Halfway into eating my salad, I noticed there was a cockroach (see image) and immediately called the store. I spoke to Tom who seemed shocked and apologized. I sent the images of the cockroach in my salad via text message and email; I was offered store credit or a new salad which I politely declined because why would I ever eat there again? Itâs very unacceptable that I was not allowed to receive a refund for my order and I am extremely disappointed with how everything unfolded. If you order from here, make sure you check your food thoroughly and know that if you get a cockroach in your food, youâll have no option but to receive store credit that youâll never use. The hand tossed is the way to go, and even thats not a good value. Noisy crowded, and slow. The dining room is ok, but the kitchen is dirty, and nasty, the floor looks like it is never properly mopped. I walked through the kitchen, to talk the manager. I was disgusted by what I saw. Everywhere there was dirt, food, and grease. The dough that they were using was nasty and old, way dried out, and over proofed. I have worked in pizza restaurants. I know the difference, between the mess that builds up during a busy shift, and chronic poor maintenance. The dough was so bad that I would have it thrown out.
