Very nice trail. There are two actual trails on the map. You can also go under the bridge towards the waterfall and there's a long trail that goes along the river that's much longer than both other trails and connects to a whole bunch more. We started with that trail not realizing it was the wrong trail and turned around at some point probably about a half mile or so down it. Then we took the real two trails. Both are pretty short the longer one says it's a quarter of a mile took us under ten minutes. It's a big overgrown and there are a few trees that have fallen in the middle of the trail. The lookout spot is blocked by a bunch of trees as well but honestly I wasn't really expecting much from it and it made it feel more adventurous that way so it didn't really bother me at all. I enjoyed the nature walk and got a nice walk in with all the trails. So if you're not looking for anything too crazy it's a good spot to check out.

Another great nature/urban walking find in the Atlanta/Decatur border area. Trails from a Hann Woods sign-marked parking circle lead on an adventure by South Fork Peachtree Creek with sandy banks and an opportunity for wading, or in more woodsy areas with moderate elevation changes. A no-bikes-allowed trail also leads under a bridge and forks to a walkable area near the famous and well protected Yerkes Primate Center, and eventually to a "Secret Trail" to Lullwater which is actually marked by that name on Google Maps. Minus one star for not many places to stop and rest or eat and not bike or boat friendly. But overall an extremely recommended area.

With two short trails tucked into a bend of South Peachtree Creek, the setting has great potential. Unfortunately, that potential is untapped for the moment. Sewer work and no path to connect it to Lullwater Preserve make it seem lackluster at the moment. I hope the future will be kind to this little green space. I did see a little devils dipstick mushroom, that was a nice surprise.

It’s a great little trail and one of my favorite spots to take my dog, Nolan. He loves it too! It’s typically not very busy and sometimes we don’t even pass another person which is nice. It’s a nice little stroll along the river and eventually around a small lake. If you’re lucky, you may even run across some deer who aren’t very shy.

Beautiful place lots of weird little things all over to catch your eye. Lots of history behind it. Love the old bridge and waterfall area. Lots of beautiful greenery and big gorgeous trees. A place to get lost away from the city. Nice grass are too if you wanted to have a picnic. Very nice place for a short little outting.

It's a quick 10 mins hike, but if you follow the river north through a small trail. This will lead you to Emory university trail. That trail around the university mini lake adds up and back to Hahn woods is about a good 5 mile. It's also shady, which makes the hike a good one.
