Awesome shopping experience. Especially if you're not entirely sure of what you want but are looking to expand on furnishings. Some furniture is a tad pricey but when you add in you probably will buy the item 1 time as it lasts yrs to come, its not so bad. Some classic looks as well as very modern! There is no doubt in my mind this store holds something for everyone! And if you don't know Homegoods, TJMaxx, and their sister stores buy named brand goods at a discounted price from big retailers due to overstock or possibly need room for other models, and they sell them for a little cheaper for us. Its fantastic as you can get great brands without the huge price! They never buy merchandise from retailers due to damage or incorrect sizes or anything like that. The downside is they might not have the exact same items in the future if you want to replace or buy more. Its just how it is for stores offering discounted brands as they choose from whats available, but hey thats why its a little cheaper! The stores are usually very clean and staff is always great. I picked up three tea kettles and one had a different price. The only difference I could see was the color. When I asked the associate at the checkout if I could have the other kettle at the lower price she said she needed approval from the manager. The store manager said because it was a large price difference she could not give me the other kettle at the lower price and in fact she said the other two kettles were priced incorrectly. She said she couldn't sell any of the kettles to me at the lower price even though two kettles had the same lower price. I noted that the price was as advertised so she should give it to me. She would not sell any to me at the lower price. She said the best she could do was offer me a discount that wasn't even close to the lower price. In buying a piece of furniture at this store i found a cabinet that I really liked, However we noticed a chip and some imperfections on the bottom. The manager Beth was very rude, she just looked at us like we were crazy and said ill give you $3 off, I asked if they had another in stock and she said you can call other stores and walked away. She was super rude and had a horrible attitude, there was another person who later came we told her the same thing and she handed us a list of stores to call. Not exactly the customer service you expect. We did call other stores and unfortunately they didn't have the item, I just feel the manager could have been nicer.
