I saw a horror show today at Marquee Cinemas and it wasn't the movie. Let's see where to begin with this review. Four concession workers only two assisting the very large lines of customers. The other two thought it was more beneficial to continue to fill the already mountinous supply of nachos. That aside, even the most curteous of service wouldn't have made up for the absolute disgraceful condition of this theater. My family has worked in the theater business for over 25 years and has been patrons of this great industry for nearly our entire lives. Never in all of our history have we ever felt more uncomfortable and disgusted. The concession items purchased at the bargain price of $37.50 we're placed in a puddle unidentified liquid resting on top of the delapitated concession stand. The overall condition of the lobby and theater itself was deplorable. See pictures as display because they do more justice than what I could describe with mere words. I would strongly suggest boycotting this theater until the district office and mangers address some serious needs of this theater. You all are a disgrace to the industry.

If you go into this place knowing and accepting what it is, you'll be golden. If you go in expecting it to be a high-end cinematic experience that pulls you through the screen into the movie, you'll be disappointed. It's a struggling 1990s movie theater. It's retro chic. It's got tons of bathrooms. It's got vintage vibes like you would not BELIEVE. We went to see a movie here on our honeymoon road trip, and it was fine! Exactly as advertised! I don't need an actor to reach through the screen and kiss me on the mouth, or whatever fancy stuff people seem to want out of their theater-going experience. We wanted to watch a movie, in a clean and safe space, and feel comfortable while doing so. (It was a 2.5hr long movie.) It wasn't too hot or too cold, and I never felt confused about where to go or what to do. Does it need renovations? Yes. Is it just fine as it is, if you want to simply go see a movie? Also yes.

As far as movie theaters go, this one is a theater I would never go back to. It is the most expensive theater by far. $90 for 5 people, and not everyone got food For a large popcorn it is $9, which was so much covered in oil that it was inedible. The seats were very uncomfortable and they left us in the dark for 30 mins before the movie started, and never turned the lights on, and they didn't turn on the screen until the preview started, which when asked they said it was just an audio preview. The light never being turned on was probably do to the fact that it was extremely dirty. They had 10 to 15 staff and none were cleaning. They were mostly friendly, but not doing much. There was a lot of popcorn and food everywhere. The theater is generally old and getting very run down. It was a very unpleasant experience, and would recommend going to another theater if you have the option.

I treated my mother to a showing of "Beetleguese Beetleguese" because that is what she wanted to do for her birthday. The night before, I called the theatre's number and was I surprised to get a live person since it is usually a recording.

I asked for the showing times of the movie, which the lady gave me. Then I asked for the admission prices.

The lady told me that the movies are $11.75 after 4 'o clock and that before 4 admission is $10.00.

I asked if there was any sort of senior discount that I could use for my mom's ticket and that she was 80. The lady said they had a senior discount... but that it was just $10.00, the same price as the before 4 'o clock movies.

This didn't make much sense to me, to have the senior discount the same price as the matinee.

The lady did not mention anything about Super Star Tuesdays, where the movies are only $9.50 all day, nor did I see any signs about it when I was in the theatre. She also didn't mention you had movies in 3D. If my mom and I had known Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was in 3D, we would have defiantly wanted to see it that way. My mom was really mad about missing the movie in 3D. (She loves 3D movies.)

I didn't know about the discounts on Tuesday or our movie being in 3D until I went to the Marquee website to find their contact information to make a complaint.

When the lights came on after the movie, my mom and I both noticed popcorn, soda cups, straw wrappers, popcorn bags, and all sorts of other things under the seats in front of us. It looked like whoever "cleans" in the theatre just pushes the trash under the seat with their broom. The theatre wasn't even that crowded, there was probably a half a dozen people including my mom and I with no one sitting in front of us. When we got up, we looked down and saw it was the same thing on our row. Judging from the amount of it, it was obvious that trash had been there for awhile. My mom wanted to just about vomit when she saw all the filth.

My mom and I did enjoy the movie, but we wished we could have seen it in 3D. It would have also been nice to know about the discount on Tuesdays, especially since I was paying.

They need to add signage to the theatre about pricing and 3D movies so other people won't miss out, and hire people who know how to clean.

Next time my mom and I want to see a movie, we're going to consider visiting...

My wife and I bought tickets for a movie. We walked in the theatre about 5 minutes before the movie was scheduled to start. The theatre was pitch dark, no lights on at all and the screen was off. I used the flashlight on my phone to find a seat. I saw lots of popcorn, candy wrappers and other trash everywhere on the floor and seats. Several cup holders had nasty sticky liquid in them, I assume from a soda leaking. The whole theatre was just completely nasty and it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned for quite a while. A couple behind us attempted to sit down in their seats and the lady discovered that her seat was completely missing the cushion and she was just sitting on metal and had find another seat which wouldn't have been so bad if all the seats were not filthy. We finally found a seat that was not too nasty and waited for the movie to start. It never started. My wife had to walk up to the consessions to ask them to start the movie. They started the movie. I went to use the restroom after the movie and the bathroom was nasty. Paper products all over the floor, sink was nasty abd the urinal was out of order with a plastic bag over it. Walking out of the theatre we noticed how dirty the carpets were. The only thing I can say good about this place is that the popcorn and soda was fresh tasting. The entire building was very dirty and not pleasant to be in. There were also lots of holes in the wall, pieces of the ceiling missing and a lot of other repairs that need attention. We will not be returning to this theatre and we definitely do not...

July 2018. I and I'm not noticing any differences. They put money into a new front on the building instead of utilizing it towards the bathrooms the bathroom's just continue to go down. The person I was okay however you never know if you are going to buy a ticket out front or would you have to walk into the concession stand and stand in line to wait to buy tickets it's not like a sign says go inside or somebody's out there saying come on in it's just good luck in finding where to pay.

The cost it has blown up and it's now higher then tickets outside of Nashville veteran clean movie theaters. I checked the theater in Gallatin and it's still cheaper than the one up here they don't deserve to raise the cost of a ticket until they have something to offer me for that raise.

And the theater either doesn't read their reviews or are just to lazy to reply.

End of update.

The bathrooms are disgusting. I won't let my family use them. They need to be checked every 30 minutes and someone needs to figure out what bleach could do for them. As the only Cinema in Glasgow, they have a captive audience. I would suggest invested some money on cleaning it up.

The staff is friendly but young. So no problem there. Yes long lines on weekends at concession stand.

And it's not just the bathrooms, the seats in the viewing rooms need cleaning as do the floors. I'm not talking about picking up trash. I saying they need to...
