Camera Park — Attraction in Glendale Heights

A nice big SAFE PARK on a quiet day. But always stay vigilant. This park has a lot of land, school and library are close by. It has been recently updated within the past 2 years, so the slides, swings, modern merry go around and all the equipment is new! It has different stations or activities levels. Starting from 3-5 yrs old, 5-12 years and older ! Away from the kids section, there's exercise equipment that could be used for strength training and climbing like an outdoor gym or any potential ninja warriors 😉 In the summer, the water feature is awesome on a hot day. It's a nice park right in the middle of town. A nice playground, a skateboard park, basketball court and lots of park space to play. Since we moved here we have come here with our family and we enjoy it very much! It's a good place to take walks in the spring and summer. It's a fun place to play with the kids and relax and fly kites or play baseball or just lay down on the grass and relax. The annual summer festival and fireworks show is held here and is definitely the highlight of the summer in town! Other festivals and events are held in the park throughout the year. I like...

I just went to the October fest of 2025. The park was very nice, but the fest was unimpressive. The park had more people enjoying the day, than the fest 10 to 1. I tried the schnitzel with grilled onions for $10. I am almost sure it was frozen. It was dry, bland, and the onions over cooked. Then I tried the German potato salad, it was "fumey" with too much vinegar. The cashier at the food booth said they are low on staff, and it will be difficult this year. Unless things get better, my rating is a don't bother going, one...
