We eat here quite frequently. Mostly takeout orders, rarely inside. I guess the server doesn't realize that we eat there frequently or what but the few times I ate inside she has had an attitude toward me. Apparently she remembers that well over a year ago I ordered a mixed fried rice dish and it was overcooked and tasted burnt. I told them this, she was clearly irritated and had them remake. I was not rude at all. Still tipped, I'm aware the server doesn't prepare the food, is she? Today we go in and eat I ordered garlic sauce with pork, pork had a bitter and old taste to it. I waited for her to come around so I could mention it, it didn't want to say it tasted old in front of customers so I said the vegetables, sauce and rice are good, could I possibly get a replacement meat because it tasted off to me. She was very angry, "its roasted pork!" Sorry, its off. I said I will just take the check and she can be mad and she brought up an old complaint from well over a year ago and said I always have a problem with the food. I order takeout frequently, you lost a customer. Facts do not equal feelings Food over priced Poorly prepared on occasion Rude and...
Read moreWe are lucky to have our favorite Chinese food right in Goddard. Family favorites are pork egg rolls, egg drop soup, edamame, Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Mongolian Steak, and the General Tsos Fried Tofu. Out of the fried rice we would say pork is the best, but there is something really great about just the steamed jasmine rice. The flavor in the sizzling hot plate Mongolian beef and sauce is incredible and full of flavors from savory to sweet and even my meat eating family loves the fried tofu and we are grateful for the options for everyone. We eat in and get take out and both options are great. I hate to say it but every once in a while there are some not ideal pieces of chicken with the sesame chicken but it’s rare. I noticed some reviews about the service but we have always found it’s more about them being busy. Straight to the point and we don’t mind that as long as the order is right and food is good. We love seeing how busy they...
Read moreGood service, terrible food.
Pad Thai had no peanuts, sprouts, limes, cilantro, or green onions but a million white or yellow onions and bell peppers. Tastes nothing like pad Thai. Otherwise, a fine noodle dish (if you like onions and pepper with a little Thai chili sauce). Thom ka isn’t a tangy, ginger and lemon grass infused creamy coconut soup, it’s a bland vegetable broth with some coconut in it. Hubs always orders his food “extra extra spicy” and is always able to share with our son, who is 20 months. C’mon!
Hubs and I have tried the place 4x hoping for better, it’s always a let down. We have lived in more than 10 cities and sampled Asian food from all over the world. I hate that our only local option is worse than heat and eat...
