Eck Monument Co — Local services in Goddard

Our family purchased a headstone from Eck back in July and it was supposed to be installed no later than October 27th. They have missed the deadline and broken additional deadline promises. Many calls were placed without response or even picking up the phone on many occasions. Horrible company to work with especially when all families are trying to do is ensure their loved ones have the markers needed for their grave sites. The ownership should be ashamed to be taking money and not delivering. Unfortunately we did not look at reviews online until all this occurred and the company is full of negative reviews identical to our experience. If There were an option for no stars I would pick that one. As stated in another review we had the same problem. We were told it would be done on such date and it was not. No communication, no returned phone calls or emails. When we were finally able to get in touch with Eck we were blamed for not confirming the final drawing. Which we did and had the email to prove it. Owner was very rude, took no responsibility, and no apology for it taking so long and hung up. After that fiasco we were then told it would be done in 2 weeks. It took an additional 6 weeks to finally to be done. Unfortunately, we haven't had a good experience. We were originally told 1 year, we didn't call once prior to the year being up. It has now been almost a year and a half. IN April I called and was told the granite was in, so it should be done soon. I have emailed Brad Eck several times with no response lately. The office lady is very efficient and kind, but the delay has been unreal. In June we were told they would do the concrete the next week. No concrete. No headstone. Nothing. My mom deserves better. We paid in full the day of the order and then spent another $1,300 on special vases in June. Nothing. Breaks my heart. Communication is not the best.
