Wild West History
I had the chance to visit Buffalo Bil''s Grave and Museum during a trip to the Golden area. Always a fan of the Wild West, getting a chance to visit this place was just great timing. I was heading up the Lookout Mountain Park to hike and hang out and discovered that Buffalo Bill's Grave and Museum is there too. What better place for a final resting place than on that perfect spot on the mountian.
The Museum is a really great spot to check out and it is full of history and interesting facts about Buffalo Bill and the West and the area in general. You could put a quarter in him, and he would talk to you and then you would get a chance to draw your pistol and fire it in an attempt to beat him in a shoot out. I wish they wouldn’t have taken him out of the gift shop. The museum is cool and interesting giving you a glimpse into who Buffalo Bill was. It’s not very big, but a great learning experience non the less. It’s right on the lariat loop and perfect place to stop if you’re...
