The splash pad at Peay Park was perfect for the younger kids we took there on Sunday afternoon. The sprayers were all functioning and there was a good mix of types of water experiences offered from buckets, to foundations, to sprayers.
We did not visit the bathrooms, so unfortunately no insights to offer there.
The only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is the lack of shade available. I was hoping for some more shaded areas for the adults watching the kids. I do see they are building a new picnic pavilion next to the pad, so I hope this alleviates some of the issue. But, a shade cover for all benches or shade trees would be great. The landscaping seems to be a blank canvas and could use some love!
We’ve also played at the red colored playground here on a different occasion and enjoyed it. There is a large shaded area for adults (and trees) here. We also like the toddler playground and the firehouse themes.

The newly resurfaced courts have scratches and pieces torn out of the court from the moving of the mobile nets.. it discourages tennis players from going...

The community center is in same parking lot for easy access to bathrooms....and indoor fun if you need...
