Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Goodlettsville

BEWARE.... This Sonic is not like the most .We went there tonight to take advantage of the 1/2 price Blast valid for September 18, 2018 only .We ordered and on the redeem text message it states to show to carhop and let them redeem.... So we ordered, did as our message stated for the girl to tell us that the could not void and re-ring it.... We would have to pay full price because we didn't tell them when we ordered.... That is not what the message stated ..... What I should have done was gave it back to her and said Thanks but NO THANKS but I didn't..... I held my tongue because I didn't want to teach any lils words they should not know as of yet..... I do not understand.... If you don't have someone that can fix problems that arise at your place of business CLOSE THE DOORS AND GO HOME.... Ridiculous!!! I tried to give them a No 🌟 rating but that isn't allowed..... I can promise you that was a 1st and last for me at the Sonic off Long Hollow Pike in...

Most of the time the food and service is very efficient at this location. On my last visit, was a different story. It took forever for them to answer at the speaker and they weren't busy. I finally was able to place my order, but then a couple minutes later someone else asked me for my order once again. I repeated my order, and it wasn't a large order. I then sat and waited for almost 20 minutes until the car hop finally brought my order. As she stood there rummaging through the bags, she handed me 2 bags and then asked me to look and see if it was my order. Turns out it wasn't. She took it back and disappeared into the building. Five more minutes and she returned, two more bags and my drink. No apologies, no answers, she moves on to the next person. I get home, the food was lukewarm and I was missing a burger. Haven't...

I love the concept of Sonic's but have not often eaten their food. This trip was for drive-through take-out. Ordering was easy and the staffer who helped me repeated everything to be sure my customizations for the hamburgers were all correct. Service was quick- food came out after just a few minutes and was delivered to my car with courtesy and a smile.

The burgers were plump and flavorful with lots of toppings. Fries are crinkle cut but weren't great- they were cooked ahead of time and had gotten soggy and cold before any of the other food did. I left over most of them and they were the main reason I couldn't give 5 stars.

The best item of all? The onion rings are to-die-for. Better than Jack in the Box, and WAYYY better than Burger King. I will be getting onion rings on all future...
