Lions Park — Attraction in Grafton

Edit in 2017: The parks and rec department has really done a lot to this park recently. They have thinned out the trees, added a drainage system so the park doesn't flood anymore and updated some equipment. The lodge could still use some work, but they are absolutely on the right path!

This has got to be one of the most overlooked parks in all of Cuyahoga Falls! There is a rental cabin, but it's extremely old and outdated. Definitely needs an overhaul. The play equipment is old and torn up. They recently took out a piece of equipment that was fairly large (it was old and rusty, needed to go) and they put a new piece in its place. Sounds good except the new piece of equipment is small and awkward and the kids don't use it. When they mulch this park they only spread mulch around the parameters, not in the areas where the kids play! The trees are overgrown and the park does not get much sunshine. The park is pretty, peaceful, and well kept. The surroundings make the lodge feel even better. The interior has a cozy rustic feel. There are two levels. A large open dining area, and then half step down lower area split into a lounging section and the kitchen. Great park! Basketball courts, kids pool, lots of area to Grill out, a ballfield, a lodge, and a large kids playground. I grew up having this place in my BACKYARD and it's just as great as it was back then. The lodge is a very nice unique place to rent for parties or wedding receptions.
