I absolutely love the staff and shop- honestly some of the sweetest and friendliest people you will encounter, and the store is always clean and well stocked. They're more than able to help out if you have questions about middle eastern food recipes and preparations, and have given me and my friends great suggestions in the past.

I buy all of my spices, beans and rice here in bulk and transfer spices to small airtight jars at home, and they stock my favorite tahini (Alkanater Tahini Extra, orange cap with the bridge). They carry all the dried and canned good basics, and some fun stuff to indulge in.

Their prepared foods are well priced, fresh and so delicious. I'm always disappointed when they run out of something for a quick takeout dinner, but I am a late eater and it's nice that things are freshly prepared each day and not just reheated. Totally my fault. Their babaghanoush is better than my little Lebanese grandmother's, but let's keep that between us. Their baba is powerful stuff.

My only regret is not finding them sooner. I just moved a bit farther away from their store, but it's still always worth it for me to make the drive out...

I have never seen such an ignorant, disrespectful and rude store staff. They keep selling decayed food again and again. Each time I tried to think “it may happen sometimes” but it happened 4 times to me only. And this is not the only bad thing about them. They give candies to kids, look nice… etc. When you try to return the product they mutate all of a sudden. One of the guys even threatened me with calling police while I was trying to return a decayed product. I don’t understand in which world he thinks he lives in. He is worried about the bacteria that I would bring(!) with the returned product, not the quality of it while selling. He tells me this without shame, can you imagine? He definitely plans to sell it to someone else. No other explanation because he expressed it in my first incident with him. And he refuses to refund without looking at what he just sold. My family and I love this market! The store itself is so clean and always well stocked. They are so very friendly and available for questions and always give me a good recommendation when I'm not sure which brand of something to buy. And now for the very best part- the food! Here you will find the BEST spinach and meat pies! The dough is perfect!!! The shawarma is also one of my favorites- beef or chicken! We've tried everything and have yet to be disappointed.
