Frans the owner has the worst customer service repair I have ever experienced. He took my deposit and repaired my 75 inch TV and told me to come pick it up but is never there or available. ? I have tried several times and called and left voicemails. Once he returned the voicemail and he threatened to sell my TV to recoup cost his cost? But he want let me come pay for my TV and pick up? Now his phone goes to a voicemail that is not set up!? I want my TV! I went to his shop several times but he is never there..?So now he comes back in town he has all these people wondering where their TV, computers and everything are at and the best thing he can do is argue with me and blame it on the customer for not being able to come pick up the TV at a reasonable time when he leaves the country and takes the sign off his door and leaves everyone to believe that he's going out of business and he's a garbage man not a businessman this guy is delusional on top of not giving me back my TV the way I gave it to him in the box and secure how am I going to transport it like this so that it doesn't get damaged anymore than being in his care and overcharging me for his poor service his prices are horrible he did not give a discount for his extremely poor service and using profanity towards me and I noticed that my screen is damaged a with blemishes and scratches and I don't even know if the TV works or not because he did not show me that he completed the work properly and he gives my TV back with none of my accessories with it the feet that goes to the TV and the cord !!!!??? What a bad businessman he is and I would not recommend him to anyone he gives Cuyahoga falls a bad name and TV repair shops... He needs to rename his shop to Franz the TV...

But they sent me to a local guy in Cuyahoga FallsāBrandon would have a better shot but, after a day of trying his best, declared my built-in VCR needed a entire tape assembly replacement and just isnāt possible without available parts on the market anymore. Saddened, I hit up my local thrift storeāmaybe Iād find something cooler? It was there I ran into Ben Vittoria aka the owner of Arthur Treacherās. The last one in the world. Frequented by local politicians and visitors from out of state. Ben asked for a pen and wrote me a personal coupon for a free fish or chicken combo meal. As I ate my āTreacherousā chicken and fries in the trenches of a Goodwill parking inside my Red Chevy Aveo sedan next to a Teal Aveo hatchback, my stomach became fully satisfied but my longing for a TV/VCR Combo only remained, growing with an appetite. I ended up at a Retro Toy Shop looking for tapes and talking to my older friend Les who owns the spot. Told him about my television journey. My man said maybe he has one in his basement and heād call me later if he finds it. Approximately 2 hours later heās calling me that he found it with a built-in VCRā¦AND DVD player š¼ š šŗ and I have a yearās worth of tapes to sift through. Also studying film restorationāthe removal of white mold from the vhs tape itself. Fairly easy but also tedious.
Moral of the story? I may not have been able to get my beloved Panasonic TV repaired but I encountered a dedicated business that did everything in its power. I gained so much knowledge along the way and had many questions answered. In the end,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my damaged Sony CD/DVD player model DVP-CX995V to everTek with no expectation that they or any place could fix it. I didn't even think they would look at it since their sign said PC and TV repairs. But they readily agreed to check it out to see what they could do for it. I was happy they agreed to do this, but still wasn't convinced it could be fixed since it is rather old, large, and not your normal type of electronic device. The next day, I got a call from them saying it was fixed and the price was much lower than I expected. The damage was caused by me moving it still loaded with many discs. All I could think of on the way to pick it up was how am I going to get it home with all those discs still inside it. They had already solved that problem by taking all the discs out and placing them in a convenient to carry foam covering. I took it home, hooked it up, and it works just like new. Needless to say, I won't be moving it again anywhere before taking the discs out first. And I will be returning to everTek for any repairs I may need in the future since I have many TVs, PCs, and other electronic components. And the most interesting aspect is that I found them by merely noticing their sign on a street I go down fairly often. The damage occurred about three weeks prior, and I just looked at the player all that time not having any idea what to do about it. After seeing their sign every time I passed their store, I decided to give them a try. It was a successful gamble and I'll never wonder where to take any electronic device I have with a problem with again. Great...
