Nice spot to spend 10-15 minutes to get some good pictures of the river close up and admire the river. In addition, you can get some really good pictures of the bluffs on the river road in the distance. Worth the visit if you are in the area but not a destination in itself. Cannot go up the lighthouse as far as I can tell. Large free parking lot.

This is a fantastic spot to have a picnic and enjoy the views of the boats and barges coming by. This little lighthouse is a sight to see while enjoying a peaceful time here. I’m sure at night time it's even a better spot with all the Christmas lights and decorations that they have close by.
