Go to one of the other spots in Grafton - food is better tasting and much better value pretty much everywhere, and you can get the same view as this place without feeling totally ripped off when you leave. Like another reviewer says a lot of the food is flavorless (do NOT order the ravioli or the bisque or the ribeye...those were just not good) and food is WAY overpriced for what it is. We had a party of 6 last night (2 teens and 4 adults) and total bill was $311....receipt attached. (See the $2 "ranch" charge? They were out of the green beans that come with beef tornedous, so waitress subbed a side salad with ranch, and then upcharged me $2 for the salad! WHAT? They were OUT of the normal side and waitress never said anything about upcharging when she ASKED ME if I wanted a salad instead.) Service was just terrible (from apps through entrees, all food was cold and had clearly sat a long time, 2 guys ordered a 2nd beer and that was a joke as took forever to get those, and 2 other people's sides were brought out after they finished their meals) but waitress added automatic 20% tip because we were a party of 6 (even though she knew we were unhappy because we'd told her about the cold food and we had asked for help from another waitress to get our beers and sides). So, our waitress gave herself a nice $51 tip for a terrible guest experience! I feel so screwed having to pay that! We spoke with the "manager" (who was also the bartender) about the food being cold and the service being terrible, and he said "I'm not God"...not sure what that even means other than you are on your own if your experience is bad. Again, lots of other places in Grafton with delicious food at a much better price with the...
Read moreI urge you to re-consider dining here as the service was poor and the menu does not reflect the food you recieve. We came to this resturaunt to celebrate Good Friday. We started with an apetizer of Calamari to share. There was only 1/2 cup of calamari, and the rest was fried brocolli and peppers. This addition of vegetables was not listed in the menu, it tasted fine, but for the price of $15 I was expecting a plate of just calamari. We then ordered Fried Fish dinners, the menu had listed that the only side option is redbeans and rice (a dish that is typically vegeterian). When the food came out, it was a singular fish fillet (which was tasty) and a huge side of redbeans and rice filled with pork and meat (this was not listed in the menu). When I wasked the waitress if we can get a replacement side as we cannot eat this for religious purposes, she was extremely rude and refused to help us she offered us to purchase additional sides, but did not help us resolve the issue that we were not expecting this type of side that we cannot eat due to the religious holiday. When it was time for the check to come out, I asked her if it were possible to take off the price of a side of redbeans and rice as there was nowhere on the menu that described it as a meat containing dish. She took off a total of $2, and after I handed her my card, the recipt she brout me back jumped back up to the origional price. I was scammed by going here, once piece of fish is not worth $17 and 1/2 cup of calamari is cheaper at any other resturant you can find. The service was subpar, and although the food was great, it seems like the management is more concerned with making money than taking care of...
Read moreUnfortunately, my boyfriend and I did not have a great experience when we went there over the weekend. When we got there we were told by two hostesses at the front that there was a wait to sit outside, which was totally fine and got put on the list. We were told it would be about a 25 minute wait and after 45 minutes of waiting and not hearing anything my boyfriend went to the front to ask. When he got up there he saw that on the waitlist they have already marked his name off like he was seated. The hostess apologized for the mix and sat us down immediately thankfully. However, once sitting down I realized it was going to be a long night as our waitress took forever with bringing back waters or even ordering our food. It took her 20 minutes just to bring my boyfriend’s beer to the table. Her other tables were also getting annoyed with the poor service. While we were waiting for her to show up again, the bugs were getting HORRIBLE. I can’t believe there were no tiki torches or anything out there to help with this as most restaurants do in Grafton. As a result of how slow the night was, by the time we wanted to get dessert we were told that the kitchen closes at 9 so there was nothing she could do. Mind you, there is nowhere that tells you that the kitchen closes at nine and this was the weekend so it’s not like it was a weekday where they close earlier. It was very upsetting as this was my boyfriends and I’s date night that we wanted to enjoy. She also didn’t offer to give a solution or anything to help with the situation she put us in. All in all the food was good, but the poor service will make me stay away...
