Beautiful park!!! We like to get away from the busy playgrounds by us, so we picked this park and we had it all to ourselves!! The scenery is beautiful being close to Mt. Rainier, It was easy to get to, right off the main road and the playground had a good variety of things to play on. I would have to say though, weirdly enough, I loved the bathrooms the best! Lol it was the CLEANEST, best smelling Park bathroom I've ever used. There's some really pretty paved trails to walk on and plenty of parking. This park was worth the hour drive...
Read moreFound this gem on a return trip from Rainier after Christmas, and could not have been more pleased. The trails through the forested wetland area were beautiful, and I can only imagine how amazing they would be in the spring when the plants are in full bud/bloom. The kids loved the playground area, and the grassy areas would be perfect for throwing a frisbee or ball around. We live about 75 minutes away, but will definitely be back in the near future just to visit...
Read moreNo running water, toilets are full of waste and toilet paper because they do not flush. Sinks do not work. There is an outhouse but it is not maintained and is also nearly full. Do not come here if you want to wash your hands or use the fountain for a drink as you cannot. It is a good place to park for a rest but there is a 2 hour time limit.
