The proprietor of this store is a retired art teacher and was so incredibly kind and welcoming to my kids, ages 6 and 9. I was nervous to bring my kids into a store full of fragile treasures, but was so glad that I did, as he welcomed them warmly and entertained them with his vintage postcard collection, and even encouraged my daughter, a budding artist, to help him paint a bowl he was glazing. The store is full of beautiful, reasonably priced, hand-crafted artwork from local artists and I was tempted to buy everything I saw. There is also a fantastic collection of PNW art on display from the past century that is not for sale and was an absolute delight to peruse.
