I (Asgeir) and three friends of mine (Halli, Joi & Villi) came to climb Mt. Rainier spring 2015, we need some supplies so we went shopping at the Suver's General Store. They guy that owner it was very helpful – I think his name is Mark, Asian looking guy. He was unbelievable helpful and just plain kind to us, and I mean, you can get everything in this store.
And he was so amazingly helpful when we ran out of fuel on our way back to Ashford from Emmons Glacier Route. He send his friend's with fuel to us and they told us just to drop by at his store to pay, which we off course did:-)
But when we came there, he was out in the town so we meet his wife and paid here...

There is a small selection of groceries, most of which are really overpriced - for example, a sleeve of crackers was the same price I'd regularly pay for a full box. The selection itself was also a bit odd (canned mushrooms, but not regular pretzels, for example). Read moreCost is greater than your usual store you may be used to, but they have an excellent selection of items. Definitely stop by if you may need something. One of two stores in town I believe. We were able to get some extra Ziploc bags, but still plenty of other items here. Seasoning for food, chips, snacks, a few other items, car parts such as oil and other, and a few toys and souvenirs.
