Colonial Hardware Co (Traeger Dealer, Cheapest Transponder Keys in Town!) — Attraction in Graham

Called about a vacuum belt. Was told they carried them. I asked if they could look before I drove by to make sure they carried it. I had the belt, model number and everything needed to look it up. They begrudgingly told me specifically i had to bring it in and they couldn't look it up because it was hanging on a wall and they had to visually match it in person. I arrive to the shop and while they were willing to help me, all 3 of us were shocked to see they did not in fact carry vacuum belts. I left with an empty apology, a broken belt, 3/4 a tank of gas and a recommendation to try Amazon. I wasn't gonna come up here and visit this store based off the laxadaisical attitude that I heard over the phone, but they were recommended by home depot personnel. I really like colonial hardware in Graham. It's like a nice hometown hardware store that carries items you can't find at Lowe's or Home Depot. For a smallish store it is packed! I can buy items there that the chain stores don't carry. The owners / staff is always nice. Very enjoyable place to shop.

11-21-18 Went to Colonial Hardware this evening. The young guy behind the counter was lacking personality. It's not that he was rude. But working a counter / checkout is the "last impression" the customer gets from any shopping experience and is actually the most important. If the customer feels like the cashier doesn't care when leaving it's not a good thing. This particular day 05/20/25 it was insinuated that after YEARS of spending my money in this store I was going to steal a handful of nails REALLY!! does the dope man take a handful of loose nails now?
