L & M Meats, INC — Attraction in Grand Forks

My grandson and I just moved here and wanted to find a meat market. We found one, L&M Meats and what a find it was. We had a time trying to decide what we wanted and how much we could spend at one time. We purchased pork chops, they were awesome, a pork tenderloin, pre-seasoned chicken, walleye, and 2 very beautiful steaks. We will get the grill out and start grilling the rest. The best of what we got was the meat sticks and the jerky. We ate all of it, from the time we left the store til we traveled the 3 miles home. It was that good. We were so disappointed because we didn’t buy near enough. We are going back and buy a car load for late nite movies. Best jerky we have ever had. Sending some to my granddaughter in South Carolina. This place is amazing and I could live their with a tent and never get tired of eating all the wonderful meats I saw and have already tasted. Treat yourself today to a little L&M Meats....

My wife and I are up visiting for the week and L&M Meats (It will always be Laddie & Marie's to me) is a must stop. We picked up some ground chuck, brats, cheese and buns for dinner with the kids, but will stop again to fill our suitcases before heading back to Arizona.

Once again, we have made a suitcase filling stop at Laddie's. We brought the suitcase in with us and got a few odd looks from other customers. We picked up various brats, all beef summer sausage and jalapeño and cheddar summer sausage (The usuals) and will be trying a Buffalo summer sausage as well. Of course we had to grab some beef sticks and some old fashioned jerky. One very full carry on bag is packed and we may be able to squeeze an ice cube or two in to keep everything cool going in to the Arizona...

The go to butcher shop in GF. Sort of the place that you go to to get cuts for special events, when you really want to impress. As they're a butcher shop, pretty much can ask for anything you want or get knowledgeable recommendations. Big step up from the grocery store. Great selection of meat sticks of many different flavors and composition. Wonderful smell to the store, think smoked. I can definitely recommend their bacon, used it in a recipe recently. We got a 6 pound prime rib last time there, just terrific. They have frozen seafood including lobster. In general, pricier than other stores but you pay for quality. Overall, great...
