Northern Air Action Park — Attraction in Grand Forks

Two friends and I checked this place out last night, based on the high star rating and positive reviews, and we were not disappointed in the least!! We were truly Blown Away by how friggin’ awesome and amazing of a hidden gem it is!!!

For about $15 per hour of play, you get Unlimited wristband access to: the trampoline park (with a basketball dunking area), trampoline dodgeball, a trampoline foam pit, laser tag, and the 4-player virtual reality game area!!! And there’s also a pay-to-play arcade with tons of fun options you’d hope to see (and other reviews mention the arcade prizes are awesome), there are deluxe massage chairs, AND there’s axe throwing!!!

The axe throwing is $25 per hour of play, and is Sooooo worth it!!! Beginners receive a thorough, really helpful and informative tutorial before you begin. And there’s a great bar and comfy lounge area with TVs up there, too! They’re even planning to open an Insanely impressive indoor go-kart racing track by late summer, and it’s a real beauty!

The staff and owner are all so sweet, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and personable!! We had an Absolute blast, sweated and got in a great workout, and ran around playing and laughing our heads off like big kids (as full grown adults) for 2.5 hours!! I give this place my Complete stamp of approval, and couldn’t recommend it more...

So signs alllll over that say no food or drink allowed in side. I go in, boom, like 5 people have their cute little coffee mugs and special tumblers with whatever they wanted in them. Could be coffee. it could be an alcoholic beverage. Who knows, right, because it's safe if you don't know what's in it. But as soon as you leave to get an energy, drink yourself and bring it in....all hell breaks lose. While I'm running on empty from working 60 hours and trying to be awake during my daughter's birthday party that I PAID FOR is now telling me that I am not good enough to bring in my energy drink that would take me 5 minutes to drink. But allllllll those other sparkley Stanley's, are ok. I kindly walked right past them and did my thing. Drank my drink fast because I needed it, not because they told me to. Then the other manager karen lady thought it would be a good idea to confirm that I either need to leave with it or be tossed out. Lucky for her, I was already done with my drink because i wasn't about to pull out some crayons to explain how to her on how manage. Will not be...

Great place to bring the kids for some fun away from their devices. Priced reasonably well. There's a bi-level go-kart track. Track layout not the greatest because there was not a long enough straight away to get good lap times. Very good instructional videos, staff are really great here. Trampoline area was not my thing because I'm too old and it hurts my knees to jump on it, but the kids seem to have enjoyed it especially the basketball and foam pit. Arcade games are basic but that's alright. The laser tag was good, I wish it had levels too for tactical points. The best part was the VR. At the time we were there lineups was not a thing so our 1-hour playtime didn't suffer and we got the most of our time. didn't really buy any food there so I can't comment about the quality.

Overall, this is a great place for families and kids and even small group gatherings. Staff are very friendly and professional. It's amazing how the young staffs can be professional in a place where FUN is the main thing. Equipment and machines were in good working conditions.
