Had a Cabana rented for a birthday party that we planned about a month in advance. A week before our planned event I, by chance, found out that they weren’t allowing parties. This was stated on their website. I called twice asking for a returned call regarding my booked cabana for a birthday party and didn’t receive a call back. On my third attempt I was able to reach someone. They advised that yes, my reservation has been cancelled and that the manager called me about it. I asked when she called as I do not have a missed call. She didn’t know and advised her manager is out until next week (which is when our party was scheduled, conveniently enough). Even if they did call and I didn’t answer, the bare MINIMUM they could have done was left a message notifying me that they cancelled my reservation. They didn't. Had I not come across the notification on the website and called them, I would have had all the party attendees come without knowing my reservation was cancelled.I booked a room that’s non-refundable for this party and now we have to stay regardless or just waste my money. Not sure why they’d even book parties if they knew they would be renovating as that’s not usually something you do on the fly. We also booked a hotel room just for this occasion which I just found out won’t be happening. I will now have to try to get a refund on our room and scramble to find a different location for a party. Our child has been looking forward to this for months and now we have to tell them a week before that it won’t be happening. Absolutely disgusted with how this was...
Read moreMy family had a great time at splashers. We were there on a Saturday and while there were quite a few people there it did not feel crowded and the kids did not have to wait to go down the water slides. Splashers has a good assortment of different slides to choose from. There are beginner slides all the way through to more advanced slides. I liked the lazy river and just floating down and relaxing. There are tables and chairs set up along the pool areas so you have a place to call your own while at the water park. And if your hungry or thirsty go order a pizza or get a snack at garbonzos pizza and arcade they have many great games to choose from. Over all my family had a great time while at splashers. I did find it a little more expensive than anticipated but we were there for seven hours and we felt we more than got out money's worth. So if you want a day of fun even in the dead of winter and want something that takes you away from the boring norm try splashers of the seven seas, I'm 58 and had a blast. And there are private cabana's with tables, chairs, and changing areas in them for rent for a additional cost these are great for birthday parties. So suit up hang ten and have some...
Read moreI wish I could give this place more stars, because the waterpark itself is very fun and well laid out. We try to go at least once or twice a year as a family. If you go in the winter, it is cold and drafty when you are wet and walking from place to place. I have also constantly been let down by the uncleanliness I’ve encountered almost every time we’ve attended. Bandaids, hair, and other gross things are usually almost always somewhere within eye sight. The bathrooms/changing rooms feel like they blast a.c year round, and the showers have mold lining the tile, along with gross shower curtains I have to tuck into another shower to avoid touching. All these factors make it hard to want to go back, but my daughter loves it, and it is the closest waterpark from where we live. Another thing that really bothers me is their policy change this year, where you now have to pay like you are swimming, to even just sit in the waterpark. My boyfriend and Mom don’t swim, and they use to come to just watch my daughter and me, but there is no way we would pay to just sit in the facility. I hope changes are made for the better. It could be a way better place if certain...
