Grand Theatre — Attraction in Grand Island

I took my dad to go see Black Adam. He loved the movie. My dad has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and needs assistance with walking. Upon enering The Grand, they volunteered to help me and my dad to our seats, along with our pop & popcorn 🍿 They were so thoughtful and alot of compassion towards helping my dad. Then when waiting for everyone to clear the theatre, an unknown man came up to us in the seats and asked if he could help me with getting my dad down to the lobby. Thank you for helping my daddy sir, that really meant a lot. Then another employee offered to hold onto my dad while I went to get my car and pull directly in front of the theatre. The grand is a great theatre! It is an older style building and only plays movies on the weekends and other special times. The movies they play are normally just getting ready to be released on dvd/blu ray. Don't expect the latest releases here. However, the prices are great! It is mostly volunteer run and has very cheap concessions. I love the atmosphere! Tickets are limited though. If the movie is popular it's best to show up an hour before the movie to get tickets because they can sell out fast and often do. Check their website for current listings and box...

Cheap tickets , snacks, and pop! very nice theater I don’t believe that anyone can walk away from this theater without an awww it’s magical. You can really feel the love in the air, after the screening of the Green Book movie I was mesmerized when everyone began to clap and just give thanks to the staff and show their appreciation , it was definitely fun to be there I definitely feel welcomed and taken care of there.
