Yesterday I went to the Racist Towne Antique Mall because me and my friends are frequent shoppers and we decided to look around. it was a monday but the store was not empty by any means and there were lots of teenagers and elderly people looking around. our group split up because we have different speeds when looking at things and what was crazy was the owner of the store sent her friend who DID NOT work there (she was picking up items) to follow us around every corner staying at least within six feet of us at all times. We were peacefully shopping showing each other items when the geriatric small brained bobble headed looking lady comes up from behind us and takes the item out of our hands telling us “someone upstairs was looking for these figures” which was weird but we said okay and kept going. SHE continues to walk around us with the little figures in her hand for another 15 minutes and then i’m fed up and told my friend that she was still following us so my friend went up to her and asked “do you work here?” her answer was “sometimes” then “why are you following us” she replied with how we can’t be trusted and that there was a bag policy mind you our bags weren’t big AND HE WAS WEARING A BAG HE BOUGHT FROM THAT SHOP?? he asked if the bag policy was posted on the door she said no it was for some people. That’s when i decided to walk out because i’m not going to be somewhere where im not even tolerated. I went to the front and told the owner that I think it’s very unprofessional to have people follow the only two people of color around the store and she replied with “if i have an extra person on duty i’m going to use her” i’m posting this because who knows how many other people have to go through this and have experiences because of this store.you women are disgusting and i hope you improve on your service instead of profiling people...

The main floor and basement are loaded with booths. The upstairs is smaller and can be a bit stuffy on a warm day. All the employees that we’ve dealt with have been helpful and knowledgeable. Like any antique mall, some vendors are priced competitively, some are not so much. We visit a few times a month and always seem to find something interesting. Would definitely...

Highlights include a vendor with leather jackets and cowboy boots (upstairs), 70s glassware and wooden furniture (downstairs). And a LOT of Christmas decorations. Good lighting. Prices are a little high, compared to other shops around, but it’s clean and easy to search and items are in...
