Sandynails & Spa — Attraction in Grand Island

I called for a walk in to get my nails done. Waited for 20mins to be helped, got set up with a girl who I could only imagine was new because she kept we asking for help. Showed her the way I wanted my acrylics, multiple times. When she filed my nails she jerked my hand around & when she used the power sander device, she pushed so hard I could feel the heat on my nail, to the point I had to pull it away. After almost 2 hours she still hadn’t finished filing the acrylic powder she put on the nails & for some reason put a ton of super glue underneath my nail. 🤔 eventually, another lady finally took over after the pedicure gal mentioned something to her, probably the annoyed look on my face. She did the nail painting & lotioning part. End result, all my nails are different shapes & lengths, half of the are crooked. My thumb nails don’t even follow my actual nail line. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ will never go back, completely ruined my mood, especially since I got them done for family pictures tomorrow afternoon & I have no time to get them fixed somewhere else. 😪😪 10/10 would...

The massage part was nice, but my nails look awful. I not only described what I wanted, but I did it myself on my thumb before sitting down so they could see it. Both toes and fingernails look awful. I removed the polish as soon as I got home. What I asked for was not understood even with a visual aid. I wanted a base color with a light coat of glitter. The base color looked clumpy and she put on so much glitter you can barely see the color underneath. I also asked her to paint the WHOLE nail (not using shellac, it shouldn't have been a problem) and leaving the salon, I look like I've got over a week of growth with the areas/edges that aren't painted.

I also specifically brought in a pair of flip flops with a fixed shape so I didn't have to wear the disposable ones. She insisted I wear the disposable ones anyway.

They were nice... (what little was said) and the massage was decent, but for top price pedicure and a manicure there was a lot left to be desired. I'm on the lookout for a new place to go. Likely...

I wanted to treat my mom and daughter so I took them to Sandys nails for a manicure. Only one person was working and she only put our fingertips in warm water and then painted our nails! Nothing else not to mention she never sat down just moved down the line didn’t spend more that 5 mins on each of us! Totally and incredibly disappointed in our experience! Our nail polish was so badly painted mine was clumped up and bubbled! My daughter had polish all over her finger and half on her nails! My moms was awful. I would not recommend this place I paid my $45 and left! I left no tip and she had the audacity to say to me when I paid I spent the most time on you!
