It was a Sunday when my wife and I came to this restaurant, we came in no one there at the front, just looking for someone to seat us like the sign said, wait to be seated and trust me it wasn’t full of people. After waiting finally someone comes and sits is down. complimentary Chips and salsa that are really good, probably the best I’ve tried. Now let’s go to the food, my wife and I shared a carne asada, a traditional dish at all Mexican restaurants, and it was terrible, the meat tasted like fish and the only thing that was good was the beans and some of the rice. The salad was old as well as all of the other vegetable on the plate and also the Avacado had a rancid taste to it, runny texture and just not good. The carne Asada was tough and beside the taste of fish I was really impressed by the size they give you. So a star for that. Don’t know if there trying to get rid of old meat and vegetables but Sunday is not a good day to come to this restaurant. Glad we only got one plate. Overall I’m disappointed with the plate I got. Will not be coming in soon...

Had dinner and ordered the crispy burrito. After the waitress dropped off our food we never saw her again. It wasn't even busy with maybe 3 or 4 other tables occupied. The food was terrible. It was served with brown avocado slices (which are fine for eating at home but if I have to pay good $ for my food, I want fresh). The white cheese sauce was chunky and had a weird texture. The minute I cut in to my burrito, grease ran across my plate. We waited for our check but had to go to the desk to pay or who knows how long we would've sat there. When asked if everything was good I honestly told her. She acted surprised but did not say a further word to me. There was no apology or anything. She took my money and I left disappointed and hungry. This is one of our regular places to splurge and I won't go back for a long time if...

This is THE WORST Mexican food I’ve EVER eaten. Very little if any spice. Extremely bland. What is described in the menu is not what you’re going to see on the plate. To make it worse the AC wasn’t working and it was hot. In addition. This was some of the worst service I’ve ever had. The waiter was inattentive and absent. The staff barely spoke English and seemed to care less. I don’t care if you don’t speak English but if you’re serving food in Grand Island, NE. The heartland of America I would expect it’s a valuable skill and it certainly is poor service. NEVER EAT HERE! You...

It took awhile for somebody to seat us because there were no customers yet and there wasn't an employee at the front. Somebody finally got to us after a few minutes and let us choose where we wanted to sit. The chips and salsa were very good, I usually don't like salsa but their salsa was delicious. I ordered the taquitos which were $15 for only 4, I believe, however they were rather skinny and small. For a taquito meal over $10, that didn't have a side, I expected them to be thicker with meat or have more of them. Our waiter was very nice though.

First timers. Others recommended this place, a little overrated. I ordered the combination #9 and I have to say the beef burrito portion was very good. Enjoyed the mixture. Wife ordered the taco salad with chicken and was unimpressed. Stated the shell was overcooked and soaked from the runny ingredients. To their credit, the manager didn't charge for it. They were also out of rice at that time. After returning to our motel, we found out we should have ordered the fajitas. Maybe next time.
