Jims Gyros — Restaurant in Grand Island

My wife and I decided to give Jim's a try as we hadn't had a good gyro a a long time. We were not disappointed as everything from the small and welcoming environment to the very friendly and helpful service was an excellent experience! We ordered two beef specials with the munchers as a side, which are kind of like jalapeno popper tater tots. The amount of meat that was included in the gyros was huge! Enough so that my wife couldn't finish hers as she became full! The flavor was absolutely phenomenal and we can definitely see why the munchers run out often as the cashier at the counter told us happens every so often. They are amazing! We will be returning the next time we're in G.I. Very highly...

Used to absolutely love this place and went all the time. Went this week and the 1st thing I noticed was there are no longer prices posted. Looked on the grill and the meat was piled up and all ready cooked. My girlfriend ordered the Greek salad and the meat was dry and hard. I went with the chicken strips and corn nuggets with a soda. It was $12.00! There were 3 chicken strips and 9 nuggets that were all over cooked....

The person who took my order was very nice, but felt like they were new. When they asked for help from a coworker the coworker didn't seem very friendly. Restaurant was loud and wouldn't be pleasant for dine in. The Gyro I ordered was really bland compared to other Gyros I've had. The fries that came with it were equally poor and indicative of a fryer...
