Update 3/4/2024 Found out they have changed policy to only adopt pets out same day. Ridiculous and dangerous for the pets that are looking for a home. Also if you ever get a reptile from them, just know they get them too young to purchase and don't tell you what you really need for these animals. They have an acceptable loss rate for a reason.
Went in the other night to get 2 bags of Febreze cat pellets since Walmart was out. As a former employee I remembered they have a Price match to ANYWHERE policy. Now it was late, about 15min till close and still a good amount of people in the store and maybe 3 associates tops. Gentleman comes from the front office and says he will help who is next in line on another register since the single one that was open was getting backed up. Go over, could tell he was upset there were still so many people in the store so late. Try to give him out number for our account which he seems to get frustrated over. Then when my husband tried to let him know that we have a price match, he had already hit total so he sighs rather loudly and then turns to look at the price my husband had pulled up on his phone. Sees that it's Walmart and loudly exclaims that they only will price match to Petsmart online and that we are just confused. We both tell him that we know the policy and checked before we came, and that it says very obviously exactly what we claim on their website. After a few moments of back and forth he said he would do it, then turns completely rude for the rest of the interaction. Wouldn't even look at us, just hands us our receipt and calls the next person in line. If a manger doesn't know the stores policy's and acts like that, they don't deserve to be in that position. Doubt I will ever go back as after this and some of the terrible policy's PetSmart has, I can't recommend...
Read moreIf I could put no stars I would!! Worst experience EVER!! I booked on-line like I normally do just for a wash for my dog. On-line it asks you the type of dog you have. I put in my Great Pyrenees and got a confirmation. I booked out of town because we were traveling in that area. I got a call about 1 hr. before saying they would need to keep him longer because they were really booked up on a Wednesday. So I said no problem take your time were flexible and told them we were running about 10 min. late and Kat said no problem. When we got there some severely rude girl with short hair and an attitude said we cant wash him because he has a mat on the back left leg. I told her nothing on the website asked me nor did Kat over the phone. She said sorry that's our policy. I then asked for a manager and Mike the Ast. Mgr. showed up and was very nice and took the time to understand our situation. He then said we can have him washed but know the mat may her his skin. I asked to have a groomer take it out but all the groomers were too busy they said to do it that day. Needless to say my dog looked great after Kat gave him a bath but know this...there is nothing on the website that asks if your dog has a mat on his fur anywhere before booking nor did the employee Kat ask over the phone knowing we were traveling over 5 hrs to her area. NO ONE in the grooming had empathy for the situation at all if anything I only got attitude from every person there but Kat!! Read moreI had an appointment today for my puppy’s first grooming! I was genuinely nervous about leaving him anywhere (the anxious attachment goes both ways) and scared that he’d be too anxious and uncomfortable for his first time. As soon as I walked through the grooming doors I felt like we were both being welcomed with open arms and Cailyn (among other associates, I unfortunately didn’t catch their names:/) took him in like one of their own! They explained the process openly and thoroughly! I decided to walk around the store for a few minutes and found a set of halloween jammies! With a growing mini dachshund on my hands I wasn’t quite sure on a size and wanted to ask the cashier (again didn’t catch the name!) to put it on hold until after the appointment, she was so sweet and offered to go back to the grooming room, ask their opinion and so we did! They recommended a size based on eyesight and said that I could bring in the pjs after the appointment and they could try them on in store! When I went through the doors to pick up the closest thing I have to a child he looked so stinking happy! He smelled good, was calm and was being held securely and affectionately!
