I would like this complaint to be escalade up to Management about my experience in the Grand Prairie location in Texas. This incident happened about 3 weeks ago. I visited the store on a Friday afternoon and purchased 2 oversized floor length mirrors. (36X72) . I did a paid hold and told the young lady that I would pick them up 3 days later. i received a call from an associate 2 days later asking when I would be retrieving my items. I advised her i would need an additional day from the original date on the receipt. She said she would note this on the hardcopy. I arrived the morning of with a u-haul truck and helper, only to discover that Tish/Trish, the store manager had returned my items and sold them to another customer earlier that morning. I was very upset #1 because I advised when I would be picking up my items #2 The manager should have called me to let me know she returned my items prior to me arriving with a hourly rate truck. #3 The manager customer service and response to my reaction was unprofessional. The items are paid, but I do understand that HomeGoods is not a storage facility, absolutely! But Home goods also should understand sometimes the items that are purchased are larger than most and can't be loaded at the time of purchase. The system had a glitch and was unable to transfer my funds from the gift card to my credit card, so I had to receive cash. ($700) after waiting for almost 40 minutes As an interior designer who spends thousand(s) of dollars at your retail stores this was by far the worst experience. I hope your office takes this matter serious and uses this incident as a training opportunity for the manager involved. Everyone else in the store was very helpful and kind, especially the manager...

This store has very limited selections with some ok cashiers and very rude managers. They refuse to take returns made within 30 days (per return policy) and one of the old white manager lady with glasses seems very rude to certain groups of racial people. Gets really angry when seeing certain race of people and talk very rudely.
My tip for you is to stay away from this store and go to the Marshalls and Homegoods in Mansfield, they have more and better selections, as well as way better team.
Never have I ever been to a store that the employees including managers treat someone so bad like that. If you have credit card from TJMaxx/Marshallās/Homegoods/Sierra Trading Post, you are blessed.
