We went to visit this location which we are fans of Genghis grill because we usually go to the one in Arlington in the HighlandsBut this time we were close to 161 so we were like we’ll go here we went inside the server started out great we started to proceed to the bar and add out of no where this lady comes up to me which now she addressed herself as the new manager Cynthia really begin to tell us that we could not go back to the other end if we forgot something because of cross-contamination and then I said OK when did that become a thing and she was like well it became a thing when they let the old manager go because the old manager will allow you guys to do whatever but I am the new manager and I’m not gonna allow that and I didn’t ask for all that information but I just said oh OK and then I proceeded to see that employees were drinking drinks behind the personal drinks behind the bar where food is being prepped and also that bar was filthy also have fruit flies flying around the top of the food so I went to the manager Cynthia and brought it to her attention that that’s also cross-contamination when you allow your employees to drink behind the bar and you guys are that’s not clean and sanitized so we made it to the end of the bar to have our food prepped and then they were out of salsa so we proceeded to tell one of the employees hey you guys are out of the sasla we need employee went to the bag got the sauce and poured it in the already use old container did not get a new clean container I went to Cynthia told her hey that’s cross-contamination they’re using the same old container that was already used instead of getting a new clean container for each use and she just brushed me off and said yeah yeah yeah so we go back to sit down and wait for our food to be prepped and at this time we noticed a guy taking the ventilation hoods off above our food being cooked so So at this time I asked the server if she could ask the manager if the guy could wait to take down I’ve been elation hoods until we are food is being cooked because we didn’t think that I was being clean and sanitize somebody taking Ventilation hoods down as your food being cooked that was not a great luck so at this time Cynthia told employer she didn’t have time for this was the worst Experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant and we will never return that to that gang is Grill as long as Cynthia is the manager and I just don’t think that that was a great look for her to represent a company like Genghis Grill with her nasty rude attitude I think Cynthia needs to have a one on one talk with higher upper management on how to approach people when she sees an issue going on she was rude I’m not very good face to be representing a company Cynthia needs more training we will not return if...
Read moreWorst customer service, EVER. The girl with an attitude at the bar did not acknowledge us at all when we were sent there by another (totally unoccupied) server. It took a good 10 minutes for our blatant attempts to get her attention to work even though there was only one person at the bar.
She took the order and gave us the machine to pay with, then disappeared again before we could confirm that the order was to-go and ask if we could wait outside (my daughter had melting fro-yo in the car). That took another 5 minutes. She said our order would be done in under 10 minutes (the restaurant had about 3-4 parties who already had their food).
10 minutes later we go back inside and go to the bar. The servers, a male with glasses and the dismissive girl, looked at us and then walked away talking. We kept trying to get their attention and they ignored us. I finally followed the male to where he was having an informal discussion with a female customer, and asked after our order. He said it's not done yet as if I'm psychic, as if he had no obligation to provide customer service by acknowledging me and answering my question. As if he was above his job that he applied for and accepted.
We say down and the female basically talked isht to a drunk male patron about how she doesn't have to do anything for people that don't tip her, or something similar, clearly peeved that she didn't get a tip for taking our to-go order. 10-15 minutes later we had our lightweight, overpriced food in hand.
My daughter's teriyaki was nasty and tasted plain and bland, very.... Americanized. I got something with steak and hash. The bowl barely had any food and the meat and hash are tiny, tiny little cubes unlike the pics. The hash tastes very freezer-burned.
This place is garbage and we will never waste our time or money dealing with entitled servers and...
Read moreI payed for my order today 5/30/24 @5:15 at the bar. There were two white girls. One with dark hair (who was a server that took my order) and one with blonde hair & a dark stripe (who was the bartender). I could tell the server was a little frustrated but I’ll give her grace because she didn’t look like she had much help. I asked the server about a drink at the bar and she pointed and showed me who to ask for drinks. The bartender tells her “I’ll just tell you how to and you make it” and the server said no. As she should because she had tables & that’s not her position. She walks away. So the bartender continues to sit and I said I would only be getting a shot not a mixed drink. So she yells out to the sever “see you can make that, it’s simple” so I asked if you guys carried wine and she said no. So eventually she gets up and leaves the bar area and never comes back to ask if I wanted anything (which I did). The sad part is I’ve worked at plenty of restaurants and clubs, I would’ve ordered my drink and tipped you well but that’s your loss baby. Terrible customer service. And to top it off I get home and my noodles were HARD AF. The only thing good about the meal was the flavor. Between GP and Arlington idk who has the worst customer service but yall are neck and neck. 2 stars just because I like the flavor other than that the texture of the noodles & chicken (drunken noodles) were terrible. Oh and I paid for extra noodles, so yeah...
