Salata — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

I hope this helps someone especially the Owner. I would like to start off by saying I have eaten at this location frequently and I have ordered to go here frequently as well. If you open at 11am please be open on time and don't leave people waiting at the door or at least be on your way to the door to unlock it to let the customer in. Also, I observed a car at the drive through the same time I was going to the door and no one was at the window as well. The problem with this situation is that the workers inside saw us at the door and continued to ignore us and we can see them as well. We ended up not eating here even though they were supposed to be open. This location is not the cleanest and so often I don't eat inside. Another thing that is important about the food I observed is that the employees have a habit of taking spilled food on the counter and putting it back in my food while they are making it or in the trays off the counter. This is not clean and not always is the counter clean when they do that it makes me not want to eat the food. Customer Service wise I understand this is Not Chick-fil-A but this is the restaurant business please do the simple thing and give service with a smile or at least NOT WITH AN ATTITUDE. I look forward to seeing Changes here or I and everyone I know will not eat here. I gave this location a 1 star but after today with the service me and my family that was with me received you deserve 0 stars. Love the food, hate the service. This was my mom and my first time here. And I will not be going back any time soon. We told the lady that greeted us that this was our first time here, she didn't seem to care. She just looked at us with this bland look on her face and telling us to choose. So I felt reushe dthe entire time they were making my food. Then they didn't even seem to know what they were doing. I asked for radishes on my salad and the lady tried to give me red onions. I had to stop her and say no..... Radishes and point. Then after all the food was made different lady was super rude at the register, she was like it will be $32 for all three salads. I told her know we only order 2 salads and 2 drinks. She was like "oh..." and corrected it.

We then had to find a table to sit at and all of them were dirty. We cleaned on off ourselves. As we were eating I saw that the line had gone down to nothing and I looked over just to see what they workers were doing. None of them picked up anything to clean the tables with instead all 6 workers were either; eating (the cashier had a snack next to her at the register), on their phones, talking to each other or just standing there.

I mean I get it, it was lunch time you have a lot of customers. However, when someone tells you that this is their first time here you need to tell them how the system works. I really enjoyed the food, but if I order from here again I'm going to order online where I don't...

My husband and I went here to try a new place for lunch while visiting the Dallas area.( We have done a lot of traveling, We love to try new places to eat) It looks great online. Let me tell you, it’s salad, a salad you can buy anywhere! There was nothing special about the ingredients or choices!! There is no posting of prices except, 10.95 for regular, and a price for small on the plastic/glass partition . We got each a 10.95 salad. I’m not sure what we ordered, but we got salad ( mind you no posting of $$ if you get what they have on the “salad bar” ( servers make your salad for you, you just go down a line and tell them what you want in your salad) the cubed chicken seemed like it’s been frozen and thawed out, I inquired about the salmon and said it was cold- so I definitely knew that would be a No) we also got a small tomato soup( nothing to speak about either) and one tea. My husband said, my face was priceless when I got to the end to pay for it. Almost $50.00 for 2 salads! I looked at the receipt and seen what they charged, this is after the fact. I did not see anywhere where you would be charged for the “extra” chicken, quinoa ( you get a small spoon full) in the restaurant, so please keep in mind or ask!! Again, it’s a salad ( Golden Corral or any restaurant for that matter has just as good of a salad bar, honestly!!! ) We have to laugh...
