I regret to update my previous review with a series of disappointing experiences at this establishment. Despite multiple visits following my initial positive encounter, I encountered consistent issues with my orders. As someone with specific dietary requirements, being dairy and gluten-free, it's crucial for me to trust that these needs are accurately met. Unfortunately, on each visit, my orders were incorrect in regard to these restrictions. The most recent visit was particularly disheartening. Already facing a challenging day, the errors in my order compounded my frustration. Upon arrival, my order was not received, though the employee efficiently took it down once alerted. However, upon returning home, I discovered that my burger was not gluten-free as requested. Upon returning to the establishment to rectify the error, I was met with further disappointment. Despite my explanation, the manager assured me that the order was correct. Regrettably, upon inspection, it was evident that the burger contained cheese, contrary to my dietary needs. Throughout this exchange, there was a lack of acknowledgment or attempt to address the situation. These repeated instances of oversight and lack of attention to detail have led me to the decision to no longer patronize this location. I feel compelled to caution others, especially those with dietary restrictions, about the inconsistencies I have encountered. In conclusion, I hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for the establishment to improve its attention to detail and adherence to dietary requirements, ensuring a more positive experience for all patrons.
Original review: Such a great burger. Quality meal. Definitely on the pricier side, so be prepared. Manager was very kind and understanding after a meal wasn’t prepared properly. I’ll definitely be back because the food quality is much...
Read moreI have walked past a few of these places in other locations. I have been told they were good but not with enough zeal to entice me. I am definitely always down for a good burger. I think most people would agree and the sheer number of burger joints as well as restaurants with burgers on the menu confirms this.
These won’t disappoint you as far as fast food goes but hardly the best as the price would dictate. I can think of three other places in Grand Prairie that would be a much better value. Theo’s dinner is one and Jimmy’s is another gem. Hard to beat the burger at Applebees or even Chilis but it has been years since I ate at Chili’s
Fast food wise? They all have ups and downs. You got steamed sliders like McDonald’s or you have griddle sear. I am more of a sear type person but both styles have their place.
That is supposed to be shake shack’s claim to put the cold meat down in a puck and pressed down thin to sear it. I have seen that before. First place was the old hole in the wall off Harry Hines did this for years and I think the old place was eventually condemned over 10 years ago as it really did have holes in the wall but the burger were good.
The meat is fresh and ground for them. Like 75% Chuck and 25% brisket. Meat blends are always key and most top places keep the ratio secret. I gather lots of fast foods places don’t care but some like shake shack does to some extent. Is it good yes but not great
Again another restaurant from the north that is bringing in crinkle cut fries. They work for sure. I know some chains and local places cut fries in house. Those often are decent but miss the extra steps used in food service frozen fries. Crinkle cut fries grab more ketchup or if covered in cheese and maybe that is the...
Read moreMe and my Girlfriend went and got a shack burger, chicken bites and a strawberry shake and were met with mediocrity. The food for its price is good much higher quality than places like McDonald’s but somehow finds a way to miss the mark of being better than McDonalds. The burgers were a bit off putting because of the sauce choice but that may have just been because of a bad choice that maybe the burger just wasn’t for us. But the chicken bites were where we thought the place fell short in missing the mark to provide good food because the bites were strangely off putting in taste and also were only good with sauce like ranch that kinda mute out the strange taste of them. The only thing I can say that was above mediocre was the milkshakes as their consistency was actually quite nice and the taste was good but besides that the place missed its mark for my expectations as I thought it would’ve been better but obviously as a new place opens it needs time to adjust so its hard to blame them for these problems as I’m sure they’ll be quick to adjust considering the reviews they are getting so I look forward to those adjustments. Two things I can say for sure though that I liked is that for the price of the food its actually pretty high quality in the ingredients they use and also the atmosphere was very nice with how the employees gave out orders and the rustic look of the place, but i’d have to see a change in how they make things on their menu to consider...
