Office Depot — Attraction in Grapevine

Waste of time. I went in to get some Sharpies on sale. Fine, they had a good selection. Then, at the checkout I asked if they price matched since several of their items were on sale at Staples. I showed them the online sale ad. They said yes, not a problem. I go back and shop and then return to the check out counter. Then I am told, no they won't price match on those items, even though they had said yes. I said fine, put them back. I'd still like to get the Sharpies. Then the associate tells me the Sharpies aren't the ones on sale. When I tell her they were over there in a clearly marked section, she said she didn't believe me....horrible customer service. Girl behind print does not know a thing about customer service or how to run print. Coming from Oklahoma where I work at Office Depot in the print department. I come in asking for my design to be printed in a 4x6 size through publisher and im met with attitude being told "we dont format things" when I KNOW that OD can. also met with a "i dont know how to do that". Was rudely given the email and rushed. Never asked for my phone number for my rewards and rushed me to pay. definitely in need of some training in both print services AND customer service. I feel sorry for texans that come in wanting simple print jobs done and are met with this attitude...

Purchased a printer today at the store in Grapevine. The sales person was so helpful. Didn't get her name, but she was the only female I saw working when I was in the store. She took time to discuss the differences in the printers I was interested in and explained features of each. It really helped me make my decision.

It's not five stars because she said I needed a USB cable to set it up and sold me one. I didn't need it (set it up from app on my phone), but I had already opened the package, so I guess I'm keeping it.
