Taco Stand — Restaurant in Grapevine

We chose to eat at this place for lunch because my sister remembered the food was great one time she stopped by. Wasn't disappointing, it was good. However, there was a problem with the lady at the front attending to us who made errors with our orders twice in a row; missing food and missing input on the receipt, and the taco meat replaced with another meat.

It started while my brother-in law was ordering his tacos and the lady kept glancing back to talk to the lady behind her, so my brother in-law repeated what his order was and the lady said she got it. She didn't bring his tacos or the tacos my sister ordered, claiming we never ordered the tacos, that she got it right and that she repeated what we got while saying she brought us the missing food, which wasn't true. When she brought my brother-in-law his tacos, it was Suadero instead of Carne Asada. As the service was already bothersome, he gave up correcting this error and ate what he received.

We could overhear the other staff talk to that lady about her mistakes. Turns out she also made mistakes regarding other customer's orders. There were hardly any people at the time so how could she mess up that badly?

Her response was that she did no mistake on her part. She should try paying attention and accept her faults. How could she place the blame on someone...

I went to pick up lunch for my fiancé and I. We ordered 2 sides of beans, 2 carne asada tacos, 2 bacon breakfast tacos, 2 pollo asado tacos, 1 pastor taco, and 1 carne asada quesadilla. I put cholula on my breakfast taco and it was delicious, my fiancé said it was very good on its own. My fiancé ate both pollo asado tacos and enjoyed them both. I ate the pastor taco and I was very underwhelmed. It wasn’t bad, but as far as pastor tacos I’ve had it definitely wouldn’t place on my top 5. The carne asada tacos were delicious. But the carne asada quesadilla was AMAZING probably one of the best quesadillas I have ever had. My fiancé loved it as well. The beans were just okay. The red and green salsas that came with the tacos were very good lots of great flavor. I assumed it was guacamole that came with the quesadilla and truthfully it was pretty bad. This taco spot is where Peace Burger used to be! You walk in and order at the counter, then pick up your food when it’s ready. The customer service was really friendly! She made me feel welcomed. I ordered chips & guacamole and 2 tacos. The pastor taco was my favorite, I loved the fresh pineapple on top and it was very tender and flavorful. The carne asada taco was tender and had plenty of sauce, but was a little too salty for my taste. The guacamole was delicious! I will definitely be back!! Give them a try!
