Green Bag Botanical Garden is an absolute treasure! From the moment I walked through the gates, I was captivated by the sheer beauty and tranquility of the place. The gardens are meticulously maintained, with a breathtaking variety of plants and flowers that showcase the incredible diversity of nature. The themed sections of the garden are thoughtfully designed, each offering a unique and immersive experience. I particularly enjoyed the tropical greenhouse, where the vibrant colors and exotic plants transported me to a lush, faraway paradise. The rose garden, with its stunning array of blooms, was another highlight, filling the air with a delightful fragrance. What truly sets Green Bag Botanical Garden apart is the dedication and knowledge of the staff. They are incredibly friendly and passionate about their work, always ready to share fascinating insights and answer any questions. Their commitment to conservation and education is evident throughout the garden, making the visit not only enjoyable but also deeply informative. The garden also offers wonderful amenities for visitors. The walking paths are well-marked and accessible, making it easy to explore at your own pace. There are plenty of benches and shaded areas to rest and soak in the scenery. The gift shop has a lovely selection of garden-themed items, and the café serves delicious, locally-sourced food, perfect for a relaxing meal amidst nature. Green Bag Botanical Garden is a sanctuary of peace and beauty, a place where one can truly connect with nature and find inspiration. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a nature enthusiast, or just looking for a serene escape, this garden is a must-visit. I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired, already planning my next visit. Highly recommend!

Not easy for those needing a wheelchair or using a cane or crutches. The map has numbers on it, but no numbers are to be found in the gardens themselves. This is important because the paths have various degrees of accessibility. So it's very easy to find yourself going downhill steeply, because you're not aware where you are on the map until you see the amphitheater. Then of course, you have to turn around, and have a strong partner to push you up. The staff also leave hoses across the path, even when they are not actively watering. So there is great potential for this park for the disabled, but unless you are patient and willing to back up and turn around a lot, and have your partner move hoses, I would skip it. It will be so much better when the numbers have been posted in the park, which I understand is coming.

The Green Bay Botanical Garden is a lush oasis in an otherwise industrial city. The sizable grounds feature a massive variety of flowers, trees, and other foliage. There are enough plant lined walking trails to get some decent exercise. There is a visitor center with restrooms and a lovely gift shop where admission is collected. The fee for adults was $12.00 on the Sunday we visited. Many quaint and other impressive structures are scattered throughout the park. There is a massive amphitheater too. Currently, a splash pad and kiddie pool are under construction. The place is a must see for garden and nature lovers. It's a wonderful way to usher in the seasons as well. I have two left thumbs (neither one is green), but I definitely enjoyed it enough to go again.

The Green Bay Botanical Garden was such a fun find! My husband and I were in Green Bay for a concert and were looking for something to do before leaving the city… we both love plants… match made in heaven. It was very quiet here on a Sunday morning in August, minus the extensive construction that was happening inside the gardens at the time. Some areas were closed so we couldn’t explore those. It was fun to leisurely walk the paths and enjoy all the beauty plants have to offer. There were plenty of places that offered cool and shade from the warmth of the day. It would be a fun place to return to another time of the year to see different plants blooming! I also love coming home with new landscape or plant ideas for my own garden.

Fantastic spot to stop and take in the wildlife and see the excellent displays of flowers. The walk out to the pond was very relaxing and had benches well placed in shaded areas. Not sure I agree with the 0.65 mile walk to the pond, my watch said it was closer to 0.5 miles, but a very easy walk on well maintained trails. Very well kept grounds, and nearly every plant was well labeled. Has a really large kid friendly area too, with a frog bridge that had around a dozen frogs. Also saw a painted turtle basking in the sun by the pond. Was able to save $1 by buying a ticket online via a QR code at the entrance. They had a nice gift shop too filled with nature themed gifts. Definitely a nice spot to stop with a family.

Came with my kids and had a great experience. Kids ages were 14, 11, 8, 7, and 6. It was our first time and we were really excited for the butterfly exhibit. We had the best time in the butterfly exhibit as everyone got to hold a butterfly. The kids really enjoying looking at all the beautiful flowers and plants and following the trials. There is a small playground area and slide for the kids. Lots of tings to see and do. We only had a little over an hr to spend here so we went thru it fairly quickly spending about 30 mins with the butterflies. I would love to go back and reserve at least 2-3 hours here. Great place to take many pictures. Staff and volunteers were all super nice and friendly. Very helpful and educated.
