Green Bag Botanical Garden is an absolute treasure! From the moment I walked through the gates, I was captivated by the sheer beauty and tranquility of the place. The gardens are meticulously maintained, with a breathtaking variety of plants and flowers that showcase the incredible diversity of nature.

The themed sections of the garden are thoughtfully designed, each offering a unique and immersive experience. I particularly enjoyed the tropical greenhouse, where the vibrant colors and exotic plants transported me to a lush, faraway paradise. The rose garden, with its stunning array of blooms, was another highlight, filling the air with a delightful fragrance.

What truly sets Green Bag Botanical Garden apart is the dedication and knowledge of the staff. They are incredibly friendly and passionate about their work, always ready to share fascinating insights and answer any questions. Their commitment to conservation and education is evident throughout the garden, making the visit not only enjoyable but also deeply informative.

The garden also offers wonderful amenities for visitors. The walking paths are well-marked and accessible, making it easy to explore at your own pace. There are plenty of benches and shaded areas to rest and soak in the scenery. The gift shop has a lovely selection of garden-themed items, and the café serves delicious, locally-sourced food, perfect for a relaxing meal amidst nature.

Green Bag Botanical Garden is a sanctuary of peace and beauty, a place where one can truly connect with nature and find inspiration. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a nature enthusiast, or just looking for a serene escape, this garden is a must-visit. I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired, already planning my next visit....

I've waited until we had 2 seasons as members under our belts to make this post, and truly they deserve more here than I am going to give. However, that being stated, this is an absolutely lovely location to bring your family. The grounds are very well kept, clean bathrooms as well, but even the air is cleaner. On the heavy caution days from the smoke from Canada I took our 4 children here so we could get away from everything coming into the house while I set the furnace fan on to filter out the house. We walked around and played the entire afternoon and evening with clean air to breath and no pollution or smoke odors. The membership is 100% worth it. Once we have visited several times it stops hitting the budget and we have a safe clean place to go without spending spending spending... We have been members, as I stated before, for 2 seasons now and still our last couple of visits we went exploring new paths and made new discoveries we had never encountered before. Our children regularly ask when we will be going back. All of this is before I type anything at all about their rather impressive splash pads, yes multiple, they have one for the bigger kiddos as well as one for the Littles. You'll find them right over next to the Apple trees and Koi fish pond. I don't want to type any more because you really ought to take a day to explore for yourself, it will be worth it. Then take some time to consider the membership, which one is right for you, and figure out how many times in 12 months you might go back. Chances are you'll be...

Wonderful magical place to bring the whole family! You could spend all day here and not see absolutely everything. The landscaping is well thought out, professional, and even whimsical and imaginative. This is a beautiful venue for a couple on a date or for the whole family. Tons of places for family photos, weddings, all sorts of celebrations, or just a peaceful place to walk and enjoy the infinite variety of God's creation. Definitely bring your children to the play area. There are slides, beautiful water play features, musical play features, and a vine maze. The possibilities of play and imagination are endless. The admission price is worth it. If I lived closer I would get an annual pass and take advantage of it often. You may also bring in outside food to eat in their common area with plenty of places to sit in the shade. Even the plantings in the parking lot and before you enter the building are wonderful! ...

Not easy for those needing a wheelchair or using a cane or crutches. The map has numbers on it, but no numbers are to be found in the gardens themselves. This is important because the paths have various degrees of accessibility. So it's very easy to find yourself going downhill steeply, because you're not aware where you are on the map until you see the amphitheater. Then of course, you have to turn around, and have a strong partner to push you up. The staff also leave hoses across the path, even when they are not actively watering. So there is great potential for this park for the disabled, but unless you are patient and willing to back up and turn around a lot, and have your partner move hoses, I would skip it. It will be so much better when the numbers have been posted in the park, which I understand is coming.
