Some machines were paying and triggering bonuses in the morning. But close to noon, the winning tapered off and, before I could blink, I was down $800 - and my betting ranged from $1-8 per spin, not extranomically expensive. The property must be money hungry or something.
Now what I'm about to write next is not a reflection on the property entirely but I feel the need to write it. There are too many entitled guests who must visit the place quite often. For example, there was a guy who goes around telling other guests to turn down the machine they are playing because he has a hearing aid on. Everybody else must comply with his wishes, but not me and I had to let him know that "this is a casino, not a library. And that I'm going to have fun because I'm paying to have fun. Therefore I can turn up the volume on whichever machine I'm playing." He got mad because he thought he could his way like he does all the time. Then there was another guy who wanted to hog up all 3 machines when he can only sit at one, just because he came in there with wads of cash. I was like, sir you're not the only one who wants to play this game too. He's also used to having his way too perhaps. Anywho I mentioned both incidents to the security guards, and they told me that they are locals and that, there is nothing they can do. At that point, I was done. My vibe was killed.
In summary, this casino is the smallest casino I've been to. Therefore they don't have as many machines as one may think. They need to enforce a one machine per person policy or something. To have one person hogging up all 3 machines along an entire row is ridiculous. And the manager needs to talk to that guy with the hearing aid, like who TF is he to tell somebody to turn down their machine that they are playing?
Anywho I...
Read moreHonestly, I took home 1700 after putting in 400 a week ago, a few nights later I took 1000 after putting in 100. Sounds pretty awesome until you factor in the 11 months where my highest win was 120 and total wins were 1100 (anything over $50 and +/- 100 in the total). Total put in? According to atm receipts alone, 27,400. But that's not the reason for the lone star. No, the reason is over the last 72 hrs I spent 1200, and won no more than 75 on multiple machines winning no more than 20 on bets from 3 to 10 a spin. One machine alone was 800 with not a single bonus and no wins over 1.50 using the same bet range. On top of this, over 7 visits to the airport/main location I put in 3000 with NOT A SINGLE BONUS. I'd call this terrible luck, but about 6 months into my cold streak I started noticing grins, comments, and a pattern. I began recording audio and in many cases video. After I reviewed a small fraction, I was beyond disappointed. I was literally sick to my stomach at how low and shady they had gone. Those that participate in these pathetic activities are dirty people. Greedy, dirty people that love getting back at "the white man". Don't be a target, take your money to island or Vegas. Google-you should allow videos to be...
Read moreMy favorite Casino of the Oneida ones. Not sure why people are complaining about losing money at a casino. Some days you win, some days you don’t.
Place is set up a little awkward though. After there are areas where it gets congested because the casino is set up in what seems like 4 areas. The entrance area, the entrance by the lodge (most cramped one in my opinion), upstairs in the no smoking section, and the super large area towards the smoke shop.
Seems like you kind of get stuck trying to be funneled through these little areas to get to others areas.
The selection of machines is incredible. So many different slots and Denoms. They are always rotating machines in and out too. Always have fresh ones. No live table games though. They have a bar and restaurant on on site, as well as a smoke shop. The parking lot is honestly pretty bad. Crowded, half of it is sloped at a really awkward angle, hard to even get to an exit half the time.
Still my favorite casino though...
