I don’t know where exactly to talk about the pool they’ve opened up so I guess this will do. They were obviously pushed to open before they were quite ready. First of all, the ladies at the front that give out wristbands are super rude and uninformative. They talk to guests like they’re an annoyance instead of being pleasant. A lady with her family had driven an hour with her two elderly grandparents to use the facilities and while I do not know the full situation, instead of talking to the guests the lady at the desk responded “I’m on the phone “ in a rude tone and ignored them. There was probably only one polite person and that was the guy they had at the gate that leads to the pool. Also, upon arriving a guy was yelling at what I assume was a employee in the parking lot for guests to hear. Not very professional at all. This place is disorganized and I hope, through time it improves. Just be prepared to be talked to rudely and not greeted...
Read moreA lovely spot to access the water, whether in the sea or at the pool. The sea is best for swimming in at high tide but there is a lovely beach area to enjoy, which is monitored by life guards. The pool is great but quickly fills up and numbers are restricted to 170 at the moment, so be prepared to queue to get in. They open the pool at 11am through to 7pm. So you’ll need to be there in good time at the weekends to avoid waiting. The main pool has a large play area as well as two or three lanes for adult swimming. There are also two small baby/kids splash areas. There are no sheltered areas around the pool, which does stop people from overstaying and not letting others in. There is also a well served shop, which offers both hot and cold food and refreshments. See photos for more detail. There is also a grass area to have picnics in, with some tables to use as well. To access the park you need to have...
Read moreI've never been so disgusted in my life at the behavior of another person. We pulled in and explained to the woman at the booth that my son just needed to use the bathroom as we were lost and had been on the road for hours. I asked if he could just quickly use the porta potty right there. She said yes and waived us on to park and use the bathroom. We parked and my son and I got out of the car so he could use the Porta potty, and she ran out and began wagging her finger in his face telling him it is her bathroom and nobody is allowed to use it. I told her that, literally, 30 seconds ago she said he could use it and she began on a weird rambling rant about how it is staff Bathroom and not for him. Weirdest...
