It finally came down to the day when mom threw in the towel and needed to be assisted with things due to eyesight.over the 6 month period she finally found a place that was more than it will do but really praised all that it was. From the staff to the residents there was not even a hint of tarnish on any of it. I was a bit sceptical about that.very rarely is there such a community that could walk that walk so today i got to see for myself.theres no better feeling than knowing your loved ones are in better hands than you could ever do for them.sooner or later good things turn out spectacular for those good people. The more of them helping one another always with a true heart felt smile.. You all become a product of that environment which is an answered prayer and also a shame that it should be that way everyday all through life. I was humbly impressed at the lack of greed and arrogance this place failed to have. There are still some big hearted GENUINE HUMANITARIANS that never stop spreading there goodness to all and we thankyou for keeping it a reality. And i havent even got to the housing part of it which fits in right with everything else...clean affordable and most of...
Read moreThis is a beautiful 55+ community. Everyone is so friendly. I like that all the homes are single story. They have many different floor plans. The residents are able to plant around their homes. There is a lovely recreation room. When I was there I saw a large group of residents partaking in an exercise. This was for everyone including those with walkers and limited mobility. I got a chance to experience the lunch room. It was beautiful and they had lots of options to choose from. Even if you are a vegetarian you had choices. They have many things posted for those who want to do activities. I happen to see them doing a painting project. What I like about this place is they respond to maintancs quickly. The staff was so friendly and willing to listen to me. They didn't quickly push me aside to go on their way. They do have a beautiful chapel. They have preformed weddings there as well as services. It felt like a secure ,...

I was told they would not use salt or de icer cause it would ruin the finish on their sidewalks. Sand would have worked but they somehow hadn’t thought of that. It is concerning that The Village is prioritizing the conditions of their sidewalks over the safety of their residents, many of whom use walkers, assistive devices, and generally are...
