My experience here was not so good. My daughter and I were so excited to see a new thrift store in Niantic because she loves thrift stores, and she shops in Niantic all the time, so we thought this place would be perfect. The selection is decent. Nice items, but not a lot of things, I think because the store is new. But the owner was very unfriendly. We got the feeling that we interrupted her when we went in. She barely acknowledged or talked to us. When she did, she just seemed bothered. She never welcomed us, never thanked us for buying from her store, nothing. My teenage daughter is super friendly and loves everyone, and the minute we walked out she looked at me and said, "Not coming back here". I hate to give this new business a bad review. I stopped into Serendipthrifty today and the owner was SO kind and informative of processes relating to buying and selling, as well as fun to chat with about the reselling world!! 😁 The selection thus far is current, clean, and unique!! As a small business reopening in a growing town, I truthfully feel it’ll feed the needs of the community and make shopping an easier and more enjoyable experience compared to the searching and hunting needed at goodwill around the corner. The owner has worked so hard to make her vision come alive, and it’s only fair to recognize when something good can become something AMAZING with the community's contributions. I love this store! I was so excited to see it reopen at the new location. There are so many cute, well maintained clothes to check out! I frequently struggle to find inclusive sizing so I love that this store has such a wide range. Its clear that the owner puts a lot of thought into the items she chooses. There are clothes for every occasion ranging from sleepwear and workout clothes to beautiful dresses for date night. Everything is fairly priced and clean with little to no signs of wear. There is also a nice selection of jewelry including earrings that didn’t hurt my ears. The owner was very kind and even helped me pick an outfit for my event.
