My food was delicious. However, I have one suggestion, and an observation. First, back off on the sugar. My beans were sweet, ribs too sweet, the Chinese restaurants around here have taken to adding so much sugar, it doesn’t even taste savory, only sweet. Beef up on the black bean sauce, throw in some hoisin, don’t be afraid to season it. When I go to a Chinese restaurant, I want Chinese food, not Chinese American food. “Chinese” vegetables have practically disappeared off the menu replaced with regular veggies. Where’s the Bok Choi, the bitter melon, the black mushrooms, the closest I can find is a bit of bok choi, bamboo shoots, maybe water chestnuts and that’s it. I don’t want carrots and peas in my fried rice, it’s not right, I want bean sprouts! Ok, back to the review. Good points: hot food, beans perfectly cooked but it said spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all, the Sichuan wonton were supposed to be spicy too. In short, increase seasonings and spices, back off the sugar, and it would be perfect. The food was delivered hot, well packaged and wrapped thoughtfully. Presentation 100%. I will definitely be back to try again.

The seasoning on the rest of the food is mediocre but I would still call it food. The reason I am here is because we bought the coconut chicken. All the flavor from coconut chicken comes from the sweet vs sour, some places use vinegary mustard and sugar. Tell me why there is an extreme smell and taste of mayo with no sweetness or vinegar flavor. There is just coconut flakes on top no flavor of coconut. I'm known in my friend group as the person who eats anything. This is inedible it's that bad, both my wife and I are sick. Not only that but it's the most expensive of the coconut chicken in the area. I am neither a picky person or someone who complains about food. This was comparable to a child's attempt at cooking someone with 0 experience. The rest of the food was bad but at least it was edible. 50$ wasted

Gotta say the only disappointing part of ther meal was the generic, flavorless, yellow fried rice. I'd rate it a 3, as it was cooked well, good consistency, no hard pieces, no mushy pieces. Pork egg foo young was a definite 9.5. Perfectly cooked, perfect crispy texture and flavor. The dumplings were also great as was the ginger sauce. I'd rate it an 8.5. It's hard to get a perfect dumpling these days without MSG, but these were fairly close. Overall very happy with the meal.

I have eaten there many times with my fiancee and it has always been great. Gotten deliveries, although late but always hot and delicious. Today I made an order and received it when I expected(late), it was very hot but as I said hello to the deliverer, the first thing out of her mouth was,"You know, it took me 27 minutes to get here". If it took someone to get here 30 minutes, then the food should've cooled off. I live 6.7 miles away in Ledyard and know exactly how long it takes to get there without speeding. I know that it doesn't take 27 minutes exactly to there. That is my only complaint. Restaurant is great, delivery people,...
