Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Groton

Firstly, the customers here are horrible people!! I'm really shocked at what I saw there and even some of these 1 star reviews, forgetting a spoon for the mash potatoes lol, another 1 star cause the spicy chicken wasn't spicy enough lol, my only negative experience here was another Karen running up to the drive-thru window while I'm parked there, banging on the window because they forgot her ranch and yelling at the poor guy to give her one, no wonder why they lock the doors LOL, the entitlement is real. The wait wasn't that bad for 11:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, maybe 12 minutes and I was entertained by the drunk girls ahead of me complaining about the price, the poor guy was trying to hand her the drink and she kept looking down at her phone for at least 90 seconds and the guy was so nice that he didn't even keep trying to get her attention but just stayed there holding out her drink. The two guys working were super nice!! The food was delicious!!! The portion size was incredible, three different chicken portions in the boneless bundle, the flavors were so deliciously southern, 2 sides, fries were amazing! Potatoes were not really my favorite though. The guy even gave me a large Coke instead of a small which was really nice of him. He did forget my barbecue sauce but I think he just overlooked it because he gave me the spicy sauce instead, he didn't forget my honey mustard or ranch though. I truly enjoyed this meal which is great cuz I'm going to be eating leftovers of it for the next 2 days lol. I do wish people would be kinder to our service people. They are trying to work fast while not forgetting things but they are human and may forget a fork or napkin, it's not that deep. This is the worst Popeyes I ever been to for the past 10 years, let’s start talking. I ordered the 5 pieces combo and it comes with two sides(I chose mash potatoes and fries), I also ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. I made the order on the mobile app, before I go drive thru to pick it up. Here is all the problems:

1. when I got there and pick up the food, I asked for some buttermilk sauce for the 5 pieces, when I go back and check on the sauce, the person gave me ONE sauce for 5 pieces chicken….

2)then when I check on the food, there is NO spicy chicken sandwich….. I have to drive all the way back for it and they didn’t even apologize. They didn’t even check my receipt or anything, they just gave that to me after I explain to them. I guess they always mess up their orders…

3. the 5 pieces comes with regular side of fries, and I got 16 fries, they are not even filled up the bag for the fries, this is like a kids meal side, see picture for reference.

After coming here since they've opened. I always get the same thing 12 piece nugget combo, they ALWAYS give me 8. My girlfriend put in a review stating that. She got contacted by someone there and they said to come in any time they are there to get a 12 piece nugget for free. We come through when he was supposed to be there and he's not but instead the general manager is there. And she's AWFUL. Pulled up to where ya order and said we spoke to somebody yesterday about a order that was messed up and we're met with a rude " pull up to the window" and Immediately interrogated " who did you talk to " we thought the person we talked to was the general manager so we said that. we were wrong, she says " well I'm the general manager so who did you talk to" we couldn't remember the guys name and she walked away and said " ugh can you deal with them?"
