Sonoma Nesting Company — Attraction in Guerneville

We have been stopping by here for the past several years and are always pleasantly surprised at the unique items, collectible fine art, and one of a kind pieces. This is an amazing place and we LOVE the owners, who lovingly curate such wonderful pieces. We are heartbroken thinking they may have suffered damages and loss during the recent floods. We hope Dax and his partner are safe and can not say enough kind words for this special Gem! We always leave with a special new treasure and our home is more beautiful for the pieces we have gotten there. My Most recent purchases consisted of a rod iron hand made candlelabra that now hangs over my dining room. Everyone who sees it is blown away and amazed that I found it tucked away in a magical store in the mountains of the Russian River in Guerneville. Not only do they have great taste in their furniture and art work, they also give great tips on music. We can’t wait to return and plan on bringing home something special to mark our next visit! I was running an errand in town and felt called to pop in and finally see what this place was about. I am so surprised I’d never been to this gem of a store sooner! The entire experience far exceeded any of my expectations.. Many, many treasures from all over the world intertwined with a plant haven.. I felt like every plant in there was well cared for and happy. Dax and Smitty were so knowledgeable, patient and kind with helping me find the perfect plants for my studio space. I brought the new plant babies home and the energy of my space has enhanced exponentially. Such high vibes radiating from the plants infused with happy memories of picking them out. Dax and smitty not only have a beautiful store filled with interesting finds - they are also so cool to chat with! The inside is full of retro curated art, clothes, Knick knacks, custom painted furniture in vibrant colors, and antiques and they also have a gorgeous outdoor plant/nursery area. I almost always come home with something - a retro coat rack, a groovy telephone bank, unusual and lovely plants, a cool piece of jewelry. The prices are already reasonable, but often when they see you admiring something (me, a bracket, my 2 year old, a funky telephone) they say - “Oh you should have that!
