Recently the parking lot on The Dell side and road leading down has been completely redone, as well as parts of walkway. New fence as well. Its very well maintained.
Please dont drive on walking path (common sense!!) its blocked off yellow on ground, do they really need to put a Ballard up or wall because people dont understand basic driving rules. When you leave the new lot you can ONLY MAKE A RIGHT dont be that person. Drive Slow.

Read moreThe town has revamped the entire park and Dell outdoor theater.
At the Dell the seating is bigger and the stage is a bit smaller, but they have done a beautiful job making it very functional. Plank board seating has been turned into actual benches with backs and dirt paths turned into paved stairs. There is enough space at the top to park a few wheelchairs which is accessible via a small hill.
The kids park has had a complete overhaul with 3 separate play areas connected by concrete pathways. There is a 2-5 yo medium size playset, a 5-12 yo medium size playset, and a swing set area with 2 baby swings / 2 big kid swings / 1 double lounger swing (interesting). Each play area is gated with large openings to enter/leave although keep a close eye on the kids because there are multiple openings to each area. These areas are also wheelchair accessible to navigate as a man in a power wheelchair demonstrated yesterday to come watch is grandkids swing and play. The small gazebo that was previously there remains unchanged, but additional picnic bench seating has been added in uncover areas around the play sets. Overall, really nicely thought out and beautiful. It was very much needed and greatly enjoyed by all the kids. It seems to be a very busy park even during the week especially midmorning...
Read moreNice little park considering it is in the city and can get a little crowded and noisy but it does give a nice area for walks and a playground for the kids as well as ball fields. I'm not sure about the lake being able to be used for anything more than fishing since no one had a canoe out on it, I was there in February and only know a few of us that put canoes in the water that time of year but if you are local and want to look into it it might be a good spot for...
