Portions are nice and the vegetable patty was really Good but unfortunately that was the only reason they got two stars. I can’t speak for all the dishes only what we had. I had the Oxtails with rice and peas, cabbage and a side of Mac and cheese. My wife had the Jerk Chicken , rice and peas, cabbage and a vegetable patty. Let’s start with the oxtail platter. The oxtails were meaty and tender, I’ll give them that. But the whole platter lacked any type of seasoning! The cabbage tasted like it was cut, rinsed and steamed, same thing with the rice and peas. The oxtails had no flavor, only the rich flavor from the meat and fat itself. The Mac and cheese was basically Kraft with bigger elbow noodles. The jerk checks platter up next. Same thing with the seasoning, there was absolutely none! The jerk chicken was cook on the grill but really lacked any type of seasoning it was a dash a best. Also the jerk chicken was more bones than anything, not much meat. We spent $42 on our he two large platters and a vegetable patty. Which is going rate nowadays but like I said it was no seasoning at all. So if you want a nice size platter but don’t care about seasoning go right ahead or if you want a good patty this is your spot. Like I said we only had the oxtails and jerk chicken so we can’t speak on everything. I do recommend the Hummingbird out Trenton or Robs out...

Came in yesterday for my first time very busy a lot of stuff was sold out I had the curry chicken that was very good and tasty with rice and peas the cabbage was not ready so I opted for collard greens that were delicious also I ordered plantains two Coco bread And a chicken patty… Plantains weren’t available so I just said toss me another chicken patty .. The girl took care of me but what I asked for my Patty on the Coco bread kind a looked at me like what do you mean and that’s a traditional way you eat a patty but she hook me up for the ride home thank you The wait was long but I can understand that they were very busy and understaffed and sold out a lot of stuff… I have quite a few Jamaican friends so I jokingly said Jamaican time isn’t the same as regular time lol … But I knew what I was getting into as I have been to a lot of Jamaican spots… Everybody was pleasant to me The food that I got was delicious … u just gotta have patience .. and enjoy the experience everything was IRIE for me :0) Glad business as well hopefully Can situate staffing so this business can keep on driving I will return thanks again big ups for this place … I really want to try the brown stew fish...

I try to support all local business in and near my area im from Lawnside N.J yesterday my wife and I looked at this video on YouTube about this Jamaican restaurant near by so today I said I would try them. It was a little line but I noticed on the door they advertised the curbside pick up so I went online to order , to order online you have to give them your credit card information which is normal and they said they would email me when ready for pickup so I check my email after 25 minutes which they said it would be done and the said its ready. When I went in I told the female associate that im here for my online pickup her response was we don't have a online pickup at this time so I show her on my phone my order number and that I paid for it so she call the other associate over and she said to call my bank and cancel the purchase then ask me what did I order and before I could show her she walk away and never got back to me so I went home and cancel that purchase. Hopefully someone can look into this and make it right i was so glad to see a Jamaican restaurant so close so I dont have to travel to Vineland nj for...
