Thumb on scale-- Bought apples and bananas this afternoon. Apples were 99cents/lb and bananas 65cents/lb. Was charged $4.00 for apples and $1.00 for bananas - Was in a rush so paid and left. Once home and showed purchase to wife who said that doesn't see right. Weigh them Apples about 3 lb 5 oz and bananas about .7 lbs.so should have been charges 3.02 for apples and 0.45 for bananas - so $3.47 not the quick 5.00 I was charges. So overcharges by about 45%
So watch the cashier and verify the items weight.
Update: Update - Tom called me -apologized and offered me a credit - for a bit more than over charge amount. Said - not how he does business....
